It is truely sad that teachers have to fight to get a raise every time a contract is up. It's no surprise people don't want to be teachers anymore. Be a bus driver on pace or cta and make twice as much as a teacher.. Wonderful system we have in this country. You would think a teachers job is more important, and should pay more, but that's only in other countries. Welcome to america, the land of opportunity. YEAH RIGHT.
