James Lamb apparently has new home

A new home has apparently been found for sexually violent predator James Lamb. According to the Megan's Law web site, Lamb's new address is 1230 River Road, a rural site east of Chualar.

Why did the Monterey County Court system feel it necessary to release this maniac on any of its citizens? It's been proven that NO ONE wants him in their neighborhood but according to the California State law, he's done his time and must remain in the area for one year. James Lamb should have remained in prison for the rest of his life for his crimes.
My sympathy to all those who will be forced to live near where he'll be residing.

so lets change the law so he is allowed to go live with his MOM. stop bitching about living restrictions, we voted for that law. Lets change it so these guys can go live with thier parents. Also..WTF does this 2000 ft thing really do? really..so he can live 2500 ft from a school..you think that 500ft or 5ft for that matter would stop someone? if anhyone is inclined to harm a kid, ala kidnapping, 5ft aint gonna stop them. I dont hink Lamb was a predatory, kidnapper style guy, hes prob very safe where hes living.

He just became my neighbor.. If he admitted to molesting 50+, why is he released from a holding institution?

We had no due process, no notice, no hearings like the other communities. There are kids out here, dropped off by the bus who wait at home until their parents come home from work.

Will the County adjust my property taxes? I will not be able to sell or rent my home as long as he is around. My property value has gone down and sleep at night will be tough.

I have worked with kids my entire adult life and have worked to provide positive,healthy, safe activity to participate in. Today I am very worried for my neighbors and their most precious assets,their kids.

How will the State and County that can't control, drugs, gang violence and crime keep us safe way out here? They can't even respond to an emergency in a timely matter.
