I can't take him in, I live in a one bedroom apt with my husband, unlike some people we live within our means. But as far as him living in the apt next door, no problem. I WAS a victim of sexual abuse as a child and if my parents had kept better track of me, it never would've happened. What's so mean about saying parents should watch their kids better? I think you guys are the mean ones. This guy has served his time and been castrated. Worry about the ones lurking in society who don't have labels on them. ie., Take care of your kids. No one else is gonna do it for you.
Lamb is a multiple offender, this was not his first offense. Castration does not eliminate the need to abuse and violate. It's not just sexual, it an act of anger and control. As long as he has 2 hands, he can reoffend.

Not sure what the crack about living within your means was about. It wasn't relevent to the topic and it sounds like you have a lot more issues than just being sexually abused.

Think before you type.

She's graduated from college and supports herself and no longer even lives in the area, it's only me and my husband in a one bedroom-we had a three bedroom house with a yard when she was growing up. We downsized after she she moved out, because we no longer needed such a large living area and we both work-so you're wrong again. By the way, she went to college on scholarships-Full Ride! Take care of your kids!

I believe I said in my original post "I kept track of her<" "kept" as in the past. and I never said she was "never" out of my sight. Read the post before you go off on an ill-informed rant. by the way......she teaches children and women self defense free of charge for the company that she works for. She's breaking the cycle of abuse that I grew up with.

Celebrating the new year with your family will allow you to surround yourself with pleasure and joy (just keep the aspirin with you).
