Moon's tow truck (Chatham Towing) is massive. What was Moon doing—cell phoning, text messaging, day-dreaming, tail-gating, and also probably speeding? I live nearby, heard the crash, then saw the awful damage.
Also, I must question the use of medivac helicopters. In the time it takes to rouse them, victims could have been transported to hospitals by ambulance in far less time.

He is going to get off easy, His father and brother are both cops. This young man nearly killed a man a few years ago in another accident that was his fault. He was speeding well over 70 - 90 mi/h when he caused that accident, and they managed to blame it on the other guy because he pulled out in front of him... going 70 - 90 on that part of the road would cause anybody to not see you coming... The system fails again.

what is the sense of having a relative that is a cop if you can't use it to your advantage to do things; like get out of tickets and scare people anyway
Every cop that lets someone break the law just because they are family or friend should be held accountable for everything that other person or people do. They are given power to uphold and enforce the law but most of them end up abusing it as much if not more then most of the people they will ticket or arrest. Its appalling that we let our country get so corrupt.

terry moon was a great state trooper and A great father.his son david moon is a wonderful cop.you cannot blame the family for the sons actions.the family has had hard times.losing there shop in chatham from burning down,to losing there daughter amanda moon.these people are my heros.they are damn good people that would do anything for a person in need.they would give there clothes off there backs.terry moon has never interfered in any police investigations, including any with his family.and nobody knows what happened.you werent there.and for the people whove seen adam moon speading and doing things that are dangerous, you should have reported it.if hes guilty you are as well.so dont judge!JUST REMEMBER YOU ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IGNORANT PEOPLE SPEAK, can someone cause an accident from the passenger seat, seems maybe he could not have caused that accident, so much for the system

insurance companies, will reach settlement to all involved. claims may take time to be looked at, in the mean time all involved should refrain from each other.
