Taxpayers are paying for medical procedures that are morally incorrect and an insult against Nature.

Tens of thousands just for the surgeries, plus counseling and life-long hormone treatments.(Just Google it for a sampling of costs).

You gotta be kidding me, right?

Is this the biggest problem we have in the city?

Will this really improve the quality of life for 99.9999% of the city residents?

Schooling, crime, economic growth, neighborhood improvements.... and the most important activity for this city hall is to spend time and money on converting city employees from one gender to the other???

Really?

Warren has to the the dumbest person ever to step foot into city hall.

How embarrassing for luv to be so clueless.

It's beyond clueless. Do they have a long list of city employees waiting to change sex? She should get on the list too, she would look better as a guy.

Morally incorrect and in insult to nature for the large majority of people, but evidently not her. She has way too much time on her hands. Doesn't she ever weigh the political ramifications before acting on a non-issue. She will be a one hit mayor.

Are you assuming that the vast majority of Lovely's supporters/voters have a clue about anything that goes on in city hall? watch the news? read news papers. Beyond the fact that most know the black lady won they are mostly clueless..
My mistake, and you're right. Most constituents and employees just want stuff, and she's willing to give it to them, without considering how taxpayers may decode it.

What I can't understand is why the local news is not going after her wholesale. She generates dumb ideas daily, and even dumb ideas are news in this backwater. Maybe taxpayers are so jaded, no one cares. They have thrown in the towel.

OMG...what an ignorant bunch you are. If other insurance providers provide these sort of services in private business, then why shouldn't city employees have the same benefit?

Why? Because they work for us, it's our money that partially funds their insurance benefits? Think about it.

Privately held businesses have a choice to pull dollars from their bottom line to finance do gooder stuff, governments shouldn't/don't.

Just another BS practice that drives up the cost of health insurance for real medical issues.
Besides public workers payed on taxpayer money who's jobs don't actually create a profit for anyone shouldn't be as well rewarded as private sector jobs that do.
