So as soon as you're issued a union card you're a better driver? A driver without a union card can never drive as well as a teamster?

Well, you win. I'm sold. Can't argue with pure, undisputable logic.

It is a good thing that your driving skills are not judged by your writing skills.

If it were, you wouldn't be fit to drive a Wegman's shopping cart.

It is obvious by your writing skills, that it isn't necessary to take a written test to become a teamster.

All you need is to have mob mentality and you are in!!

You and your Union buddies cost Wegmans millions of dollars a year being paid more than you are worth. You also professionally sit on your ass in the Wegmans break room in Henrietta while the store employees unload your truck while you are getting paid to do nothing. Drivers for other stores drive professionally and are not in unions. They unload there own trucks. You can be replaced quick. Wegmans needs to pull the plug. In this labor market there are many in line to make half of what you make and work harder.

Its your job to unload those trucks whiner, its his job to get them there. You want him to do your job for you.....who's the lazy worker. Once again you non union people are all jealous and that's fine. I would be too if my company cared more about the "union scum" to pay us more and give us benefits, than you "hard working" store people. You are all big talkers l, but when I walk through your stores with my union shirt on I don't here a peep. We are the true back bone of this company, ask the company how their non union distribution center in Pennsylvania is doing. Can't finish work, can't keep help.

I'm not the one that started bad mouthing, you all did with the anti union crap, but when I defend myself and view Im the bad guy. The simple fact is we work hard for our and benefits that the company agreed to. Now they want to renig on those promises, I have to right to voice my displeasure publicly. I wish we would organize the stores and get them union. Many they do deserve the wages and benefits that a union can provide.I just don't like the haters who talk without knowing.

And what kills this country isn't unions, who fight for decent wages, benefits, and workers rights. Its the companies who are raking in record profits, and then underpay and deny benefits to the workers who get them there.

That may have been true 30 years ago.

Unions today are nothing more than fighting corruption, with corruption. And it's the businesses & workers that are the ones who pay.

Unions are the ones responsible for making it impossible to fire lousy teachers! And You were the ones who negotiated to have teachers get boob jobs & nose jobs paid for on tax payer's dime.

Unions are the ones who make it impossible for a sheriff to fire a crooked cop! Unions defend cops who shoot innocent people, no mater how blatant it is.

Unions are the ones who negotiated to have benefits & retirement paid for with taxpayer's money. And now cities are going broke because it isn't sustainable.

What you are too stupid to realize is that all you are doing is stealing the wages and benefits away from fellow worker.

I'm absolutely not stealing any ones wages, unions save me from making slave wages, crappy benefits, and violation of my rights. Is there a a few bad apples in organized labor....of course, just as I am sure there is in your non union enviorment. And I am quite sure I could come up with just as many examples of cooperate greed, and non union corruption. Wegmans made 6 billion last year even after dropping prices on certain core items people buy more of. My union wages and benefits didn't seem to hurt their bottom line, with 6 billion hell they could have given all the store people at least a $1 an hour raise and still had money to burn. Like I said contrary to some on here, I want everyone to get a taste of the pie that I get to eat. Store people should be making at 14.00 an hour with full benefits and a pension. That's what they start the non union warehouse workers in Pennsylvania at. Everyone should be in organized labor so they have the same chance as I do to earn a decent living. And please don't tell me everyone would if there were no unions, because thats nothing more than cooperate bs.

You have NO IDEA how much it actually costs to run a big store like Wegmans.
The cost of payroll is only a small fraction of what this store pays out.

Consider the unusually high (NY) state and federal taxes the store has to pay,
The rising cost of employee benefits with Obama-care that starts in Oct 1st.
The cost of constantly keeping the store maintained.

What part of this store so you think they should give up just so you can make more sitting on your butt for 10 hours?

Your rant about the skill as a driver means nothing to me.

Holy overdramatic...hahaha. Trust me I'm sure they are just fine financially. Who said I was a driver actually I work in the warehouse. I have worked in frozen, picking in 20 degree below zero conditions, produce, meat, fresh, GMDC, and grocery. I have more than put my body through hell for this company...I have permanent bulging disks in my back, and a blown out elbow to the point that I have issues extending it completely. I still show up to work everyday six days a week. Who are you to call me lazy. You are a hypocrite who thinks they know something, but are totally ignorant. Oh and I have flown a PA-28-140, and a Cessna 172.

Wegmans is in business to make money. Not to pass it out to mobsters that gang up on management and demand more because Danny lives well. We in the stores work hard to. The truck drivers are no better than the rest of us. I hope you all end up out in the street. Its a hard job to sit on your ass while we store workers unload your truck and you get pais for our hard work. You all disgust me. They more you get the more Wegmans has to charge and the more the competition gets. In the end it will cost us jobs.

The Army mints helicopter pilots by the dozen. Anyone can fly one, and the computers do 98% of the flying anyway, and make decisions that keep you from slamming into the side of a mountain. Being a teamster is a lot tougher physically, and mentaly.

Plus, I couldn't afford to be a helicopter pilot, couldn't take the cut in pay or prestige. Being a teamster means you are the best in the business.

Stop watching so much TV...hahaha, mobsters holding Danny hostage...hahaha.I'm also here to make money. Never said you guys don't work hard, like I said I would like to see you all make what I make, get the benefits I get. Drivers get paid to drive, you get paid to unload, I wouldn't expect a driver to pick my order for me, just as he wouldn't expect me to drive his truck. But you want him to do your job for you interesting.

Truck drivers unload trucks at other supermarkets and they are non union. That may be why they are more competitive than Wegmans in price. Wegmans has to pay you crooks. Let me focus on customer service and load the shelved and you get the food in the stores. I expect you to save the company money so we all can keep our jobs. Not sit on your ass in the break room in Henrietta while I do your job when I can be helping customers.

There is enough of you tripping over each other on the floor to help customers, so you can do your job and unload the truck, the driver can drive his truck, and I can pick my order....pretty simple......oh but I do have one question: would you turn down the company if they offered you let's say $15.00/hr, medical, and a decent retirement? and if you say no you are a liar. and if you say yes you are a hypocrite.

I agree, the services turns out helicopter pilots by the truckload, and I remember they weren't the brightest or best by any means. Not like the guy is a fighter pilot with real responsibility. A fighter pilot is what a teamster is, at the top of the pecking order.

Just do you job and stop whining. You couldn't do mine, it takes specialized skills. We are the backbone of the company, and the reason you even have a job. Now unload the truck and STFU.

You are TOO funny!

You're right!!! There are WAY MORE helicopters flying around the world than there are 18 wheeler trucks driving in the US alone!
And how much do a big rig cost compared to the average helicopter ... Yeah, your job is way cooler.

And as far as "anyone can fly one" ... I know many who tried to get in, and were rejected. Your boy, "Local 118" surely doesn't stand a chance of being selected based on his writing skills.

Like more UNION losers, your facts are just a little twisted and skewed to fit your bargaining needs.
Today's rotor wing pilots make double what airline pilots make.

But as far as prestige goes ... you're right!!!
NO ONE can compare to the self inflated ego of a teamster.
You're obviously the best just because YOU said so!

LOL ... teamsters are like fighter pilots?!?!

GAWD, you are so full of yourselves!!!

By your account, the FED can't print enough money to pay for all your super, awesome teamster friends.

Why are you wasting your time with Wegmans ... you should be out saving the world with your super teamster powers!!!!

Super teamsters ... UNITE!!!
