i never said it wasnt but everyone chose to get in that car, i have never drove drunk but it happens all the time and maybe if it were to happen to your family then you might understand how awful they feel. i pray that God can help you to be a better person because you clearly all have some issues if your heart doesnt go out to this kid.

They say on average you drive drunk about 100 times before you get caught with a DWI.
I think this lightweight only made it to 8.

stop talking crap about a person you know nothing about..Garrett Ockun is an awesome friend and no one wanted this to happen, think about how awful he is feeling before you jump for joy about what charges he may be pressed with. None of us can imagine how awful it would feel to have your best friends life on your hands. you should feel awful for judging him like that.
everytime you get behind the wheel, you hold people's lives in your hands.
Face it, he didn't care. Period.
Flush him.

Ah, funny how those 18-21 year olds never learn...
Hey Eddie....don't be so quick to judge. We were once their age....we are lucky to be unfortunately able to hear and read about these tragedies. I live in Honeoye Falls and know a lot of people that know these boys. Noone has anything negative to say about any of them.

you are all racist, low life, sadistic people. doesnt matter how many people were killed. doesnt matter if it was the driver or not. if someone dies there should be no talk of "good riddance" or talk of whites and blacks or the voting population. someone has passed away and his best friend has to live with that guilt. I see him every once in a while, before and after. not many smiles going on. not many drinks (EDIT: any drinks) in his hands ever. he just wants to somehow make it up to someone that is no longer with us. the fact you are relating him to some bitch that went to drive drunk again is prejudice and unfair.

so you know what. i take it all back. you guys talk all that you want. we'll see what happens when an internet board of the most retarded people in rochester try to justify death.

oh also. get lives

Just so that everyone knows here... Garret received a DWI because there is ZERO tolerance in NYS. He didn't even blow the equivalent of one beer or alcoholic drink. Get your facts you spooks.

Those who have no conection with the families of those involved should not be quick to judge. The passengers chose Garrett to drive that evening because he was typically the most responsible. A very caring friend who is devastated. The laws are the laws and he will deal with the consequences of what is handed to him due to the choice he made. We all have made choices in life that we have regreted.
So before you are quick to judge, take time to think of how many mistakes in life you have made. Some just get lucky that they have not harmed others. None of these boys were out to hurt anyone. They all will live with the guilt of losing their friend.

Drunk drivers and now they want to lower the speed limit on that road.
Maybe the speed limits on all roads should be lowered to 20 miles per hour, so all the white drunks can get home safe??
