Review: Alleson Athletic

Alleson Athletic makes an awful product. We ordered basketball jerseys for our men's basketball team and half of them were the wrong size. The one's that were correct had open seams and threads coming off of it. They didn't last the season and we had to re-order eveything from another vendor mid year because trying to get replacments from them was like pulling teeth. Their customer service sound miserable, like they dont want to be there, like helping me was the last thing they wanted to do. It made me sick. The owner, Todd Levine, was no help. When I told him about my experience, he acted like an oversized child, denied any mistakes, and refused to send replacments because the faults were not theirs.
The fit of the jersey's were sub par. It seems the new uniform concepts were designed for NBA stars. Even the size SM short is 3 feet long and look like pants on most. The kids get tripped up in the inseam and look like they should be in a rap video. I think Alleson is having a bit of an identity crisis by designing for pros but marketing to highschools. What's with the catalogs anyway? They look like chopped up Fischer Price catalogs.
They're trying to copy the success of household name sports apparel manufacturing companies without re-establishing their target market and I must say are failing miserably. Which is probably good because they don't have enough staff to meet their current demand. The staff they do have is vastly under experienced, and their revenue is declining so fast thy are laying people off. Besides the unacceptable quality of the product, it took 10 weeks to get the order! 10 weeks!
Some contracts they had with big names brands have pulled out of negotiations and contracts, at a loss, because of the companies neglect of quality and sevice. I don't see Alleson Atheltic being around for much longer. Order from Sports Authority if you can't afford Nike or Under Armour.

Our baseball non profit organization ordered through a small busines that purchased Alleson athletic gear. The small business created phony invoices with inflated prices using allesons logo. I thought something was fishy so I contacted alleson and sent them the phony invoice. First guy said oh my gosh they ripped you off that is not our invoice, the product numbers are fake and the uniform price does not match. I ask how much I cannot tell you. Really go ahead and be an accomplice to consumer retail fraud to a non profit. Manager was supposed to help he has never returned my calls. His name is Mr. Murphy a great American.
