Yes, this is true. In fact, recalls are even associated in this kind of device which I read here

Most of the lawsuits if not all claimed that the DePuy ASR hip system is faulty. They also alleged that the ASR hip replacement "was defectively designed and that DePuy knew that there were problems with the implant early on but didn't do anything to let patients or their surgeons know about the possible problems." Read more about it in the where I found more interesting facts about the hip replacement recall.

Lawsuits filed against medical device producers are continuously growing these days. This could mean more and more people are concerned about their own safety as well as others. Recently, the issues revolving around the negative effects one can acquire after a synthetic mesh implant are also starting to create an unhealthy commotion among women. To have a clearer understanding on these problems, check out this site:

It is necessary for patients to know all of the risks associated with hip replacement. Ask the doctor for its medical opinion. If you really need a hip replacement surgery, ask the doctor what are the consequences. You can also check this site for more info:

Lawsuits were grown nowadays because of an increasing number of patients complaining with these defective and faulty devices. Patients must also have enough knowledge how risky the metal-on-metal hip implant is. Read more information here

Hip replacement implants have had a troubled history and this trend does not seem to show signs of slowing down with each new lawsuit that comes forward over this issue. The safety record of some recent hip implants have been so bad that they have even prompted mass recalls of the product. Read more about it here

Sad to say this news isn't new. It has been reported that the DePuy hip lawsuits have reached to thousands in counting. And it is predicted that it will rise up since DePuy's ASR hip implant device was already implanted to almost 93,000 recipients across the United States. If you are one victim of this metal-on-metal device, you may want to consult to a hip lawyer so that you will be guided on what to do. See

There are some people who have experienced hip pain because of their implant. I think there are some articles about it that showed some examples about it.
