You mean like trout or bass? No, but I have been trying.
Do you have the extra virulent AIDS virus that has been found(especially)in gay men?
If you owned a bakery, and someone asked you to depict child pornography and a judge ordered you to, would you do it? Would you support something of that nature? How about depicting bestiallity? If someone was getting married to their dog, would you bake them a cake, and say, "good show, nice one old chap, huzzah sport"?

I'll take a 1/2 and 1/2 cake. 1/2 vanilla buttercream with orange creamsicle icing, the other half ground beef, Alpo, topped with Kibble and bacon for my Labrador Retriever wife to be. If you do not comply, you will be fined and you have to whip my bottom.

Such practices are illegal. Dogs can't give consent. They said your same crap about interracial marriages back in the 60's We heard your garbage and vulgarity all before. Just different day.

Let's just make sure none of us forget the irrefutable truth here. The judge upheld a law that tramples on the rights and liberty of one for the tender little feelings of another. Truly a sad day for truth and justice.

Call it what you will. Discrimination based on sexual orientation is now against the law. Perhaps you and your baker friend should move to Russia. Then you can bake cakes for all your bigoted patrons and cry about how unfair the US Laws are. Suck icing.

UMMM..... The law is unconstitutional by all rational thinking. Funny you tell me to move to Russia. The law and the judge are downright fascist. I love how you keep talking about how you support it but can't give one reason how it is fair or reasonable. I'm not being bigoted. I'm only sticking up for rights, freedom, and liberty. The baker may be bigoted, but that is his constitutionally protected right. you thought police types never consider the outcomes of these things and always turn to government to solve disputes without giving any thought to what power you are giving to the government. Maybe you should move somewhere else given the fact that freedom, justice, and liberty are of such limited importance to you.

Funniest part about this is the two lesbo's and all the other morons probably look at this as a victory in them being accepted. In all truth it hurts their cause because it is only causing those that oppose them to push back harder and have a legit reason for doing so.

Gays tried to exercise their rights peacefully back in 1969. This time it was the right to peacefully assemble, found in our Constitution. And for their quietness the ny cops came into Stonewall Bar, arrested the patrons and busted up the place. That finally cause the Stonewall riots. They took the cops to court and won. That is the beginning of Pride Parades. You see being quiet about rights didn't help much. Not against bigots of discrimination. Now the right is equality under the law to marry whom they choose. The govt.in 13 states now agree and more to come.
So your baker can make a cake, close his bakery down, appeal the ruling, or pay a fine. But his bigoted thinking does not trump the law. Think what you damn well want to think. Act on that thinking by breaking the laws against discrimination and pay a fine. See he has several choices of freedom.

The law is unconstitutional. Your analogy you are giving is total nonsense. The people at Stonewall were having their rights taken from them. In this case with the bakery the lesbians rights were not being infringed in anyway. State law cannot trump the Constitution. Sorry, but you're nuts and you're logic and beliefs are dangerous to justice and liberty. The right to own business is a cornerstone of freedom. The American government has no place in these matters.

The writers subject was "pressuring for right doesn't help the cause for gay rights." If you would read rather than spout off your crap, you would make a contribution to topix. If the baker feels that his religious rights were violated take the damn matter to court of appeal. Otherwise, make the cake, pay the fine, or move his business to other damn bigot customers with the same bigoted religion.

In some states(and other countries) bestiallity is not specifically illegal, check your local laws, I am not putting you on. Some researchers say that animals can communicate, possibly indicating consent.
Different races are still human, just minor exterior variations, viable children can result from a man and woman union of differing race. Black people and white people can not choose if they are born white or black, but they can choose whether to get married and have sexual relations. I don't know if homosexual practicers are "born that way", there is no gay gene. It seems there are some sort of psychological/hormonal/chemica l influences, the brain and the body are very entwined and there is also the spiritual component of the human creature. Just having "urges" does not mean it should be acted upon nor make it "right". If you get the urge to hit someone, it may or may not be "right" and you have to decide, many people base their decisions on some sort of moral standards. I may want to plug my usb cable into every sleek new model desktop, but I have to refer back to The Laws of Robotics and the consequences of breaking them. Getting gay married is not really real marriage, it is an artificial mimic of something that can never really be achieved by 2 persons of the same gender, nor by polygamy or a blowupdoll.

Oh pish posh. At one time it was considered wrong to have oral sex, to masturbate, to pet outside of marriage, to have premarital sex, to have mixed racial marriages, to use condoms. There are more straights having bum sex than gays. There were even laws on the books against these behaviors.
The American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, the National Association of Social Workers, the World Health Organization, and the American Academy of Pediatrics all say that homosexuality isn't wrong and is not a choice and support adoption.
You think gay marriage is wrong, don't do it. Very easy to understand.

There is no comparison with the struggles of Homosexuality and being "black" or minority. Those gays are in a class all by themselves.

You never have to tell those that will judge you that you're gay. Blacks wear their perceived by others "curse" on their skin for the world to judge. Gays are judged by others by what they allow others to know. Gays have a defense mechanism, blacks don't.

And never telling people you're gay fueled the discrimination, brutality, and violence against the gay people. No more closet, pal. Force your beliefs onto people of same-sex orientation and get sued.
