Schumer: Valeant CEO promises no more planned cuts in Rochester
Senator Chuck Schumer says Bausch and Lomb's new owner, Valeant, is promising him that there will not be any more job cuts in Rochester.

Sure. Next year will be another story. Schumer meet with JP Morgan Chase about 400 jobs in the call center in Albion. Chase promised Chuck they would not close it down. Well they did close it down. You can be sure Valeant does not care about Rochester. Its all about one thing. A dollar. Chuck is not important, employees are just a bit on a computer that can be deleted and Rochester is a shit town in high taxed NY.

Now Duffy is meeting with them. The are in busines to make money. Period. The do not care about workers. From what I hear by the end of 2014 early 2015 it will all be gone from Rochester. Frenches, Ragu, Birdsyee, Delco are all in Rochesters past. Soon Bausch will be as well.

Don't discount Kodak. They're burning through huge amounts of borrowed money, and have no product. I think they'll pull the pin on that mess in the next couple of quarters.
You're right, B&L will be history in Rochester. Companies do what is best for the stockholders, not the employees. A lot of false hope comes from our politicians.
