The Lilac festival is cool. The organizers however need to bring more entertainment to the event and have more music at the bowl. The flowers are nice but after 10 minutes of looking at them your done.Crank up the party.

Good idea. If it's one thing that lacking, it's more entertainment. A big time music band would give the venue a shot in the arm.

The bowl is severly under used.I know a big reason is the South ave. residents complaining but screw them.If you move to a house near an amphitheatre and a yearly festival your noise complaints are irrelevant.People should not move to neighborhoods and then start saying things need to change. You should know what your getting into.

Even more greal local music. All day music at the bowl would really elevate the festival.Bluegrasss, rock, blues , anything.Just leave rap and modern CMT country out.

I'm disappointed for one. Where are our local brewers:
Rohrbach Brewing Co,, Genesee Brewers hummm? This is the ROCHESTER LILAC FESTIVAL not Ithaca.

I would like to see more American made things sold there. I hate it that there are so many vendors selling cheap garbage made in China for several dollars, that you can get from the dollar store anytime, for a dollar. Maybe some locally made, lilac themed trinkets that won't break the bank? I give a thumbs up to many of the excellent food vendors.

The festival needs less peddlers of wears.Letting people walk were they please with a beer would be a big boost.I will go Weds. for Marshall Tucker.

<quoted text>That would be the dumbest move ever. Because then the urban dwellers will demand cRAP music which means shootings stabbings thefts and chaos. Leave it alone and keep the Yar Dapes out.

Better clarity on parking would be nice too.
