That is great news but when is Dave Feidler going spend money on raises for his staff cause my branch has no staff and long lines. When am I going to get a cut of the ESL Charitable foundation? ESL seems to be passing out money every place but to the employees and members in better rates and service. Hey Dave how about getting your bank in order first cause its screwed up. I am sick of seeing Dave Feidlers face on TV. Run your bank and stop being a TV Star and community chest. How about giving the millions you make at ESL away instead of members money?

Dave gets to go in front of the cameras and talk about it.

He should consider taking care of his employees. They are grossly underpaid, and treated like cattle. They get no respect, and are unappreciated.

His fulltime job is mugging for the cameras, and glad handing people on TV. What a terrible spokesman. What a terrible bank.

Employee are a necessary evil in most companies. At least that is how management looks at it.

I now clock the time in line and then tell the manager how long it's been.

It usually goes like this:

"Hi. I just spent 13 minutes in line, it's Friday afternoon and there's just two tellers on duty. Is this the 'banking only better part'?"

I have been at one one east side city branch on a Friday 4:40 pm where there was just one teller on and 15 people in line. It did start with two tellers, but one of them closed their window for some sort of break. Meantime, the idiot manager was sitting in her office clueless until I stopped by. I told her the situation. The response:

"Well, we are staffed according to our volume and it comes from the main office."

Freakin great.

Looking forward to that esl survey no one reads.

We have to cut back tellers and service so that I can give more money away and be a star in the community. Its all about giving in the community. I love giving just not to my members or employees. ESL just sponsored the Corn Hill Festival for $200,000.00. Hope you all can attend. We also sponsor the ESL Lancers. Our Indoor Soccer Team for $100,000.00. Last year we sponsored The United Way for 1/2 million. ESL Federal Credit Union is partnering with Monroe Community College (MCC) and PathStone Corporation to help make a college education more affordable to minorities and poor with a $40,000.00. Each minority student that saves $375 and are accepted at MCC we will match the student savings with $3,000 to help pay for tuition, books and other educational-related expenses. saves. The American Heart Association just got a $50,000.00 gift from ESL: The ESL Charitable Foundation is lending a hand to a mentoring program that is improving grades and attendance for Rochester students. They presented the Urban League of Rochester with a check for $12,500 to support their Youth Intervention Program at Charlotte High School today. Hey its not my money and I love the media attention.

I forgot to mention the huge donation ESL made to the Galsoano Children's hospital for $100,000 and then my favorite time of the year is the Jefferson Awards when I can be in your face every night on TV. I just love being the center of attention and giving away money that is not mine and taking credit.

Working at ESL is quite the experience. Employees are forced to make sales goal every month and are told they will be fired if they can not cut it. Turnover is very high. Employees are not appreciated. Treated like dirt and put under much stress. Pay is very low for the expectations. Not worth it. Back office is in turmoil all the time. Especially the upper management. Employees are forced to make goals by preying on the poor and elderly while Dave gives the money away. Employees are told they will produce. No exceptions. ESL can no longer keep help. Feidler is the worst CEO I have ever seen. A buffoon that could care less about his employees. Self centered jerk.. It all about being a star in the community while his bank falls apart and the customer service becomes worse every year.

I understand what you are saying, but have you guys (collectively) ever thought about pushing back. You can complain here all day, but until enough of you push back to management, it will continue and likely get worse. You owe to yourself to either leave, or force them to rectify issues in the workplace.

If enough people booked it, Dave would have less time to smirk on TV. It's well known that ESL is one of the bottom feeders of the Rochester business community. Time to make a decision to leave or fix it. Simple choice.

Dave is like Kim Jong-un the north Koren Leader. He is crazy and off the wall and you never know what will happen next or what he will do. Say or do anything and you are executed. Lots of people watching what you say and do daily and it will get back. KGB all over. Walter Rusnak the CFO that helped build ESL into what it is today and was in charge of building the Downtown HQ was fired for trying to change things last year. ESL is getting out of control because of the management turnover and the turnover in the branches. Dave is just nuts. You never know who will be terminated next. Dave has no leadership qualities and should have never been put in charge of ESL. He is clueless on how to run a Credit Union. He is a vain person that only cares about himself. He was a reject from Kodak who had contacts and got into ESL. Time to leave.

Its worse than banking. Its long lines and poor service with moments of having products being forced down your throat. They just do not care anymore.

ESL Federal Credit Union opened their 20th branch in Brighton and gave a $1,000 donation to Jewish Senior Life. Dave Loves to pass out the cash.but not to help members or staffing the branches better. I lost my job and ESL would not give me a break at all. I was told to pay up. Collection dept rude and demanding harassing me daily. They have money to burn as a community chest but love to screw their members. I did get a new job and paid up. Just jerks. No mercy for me. I am going to close all my accounts and when my car loan is up I am done with this Credit Union.

I moved accounts from ESL to Pittsford Credit Union a couple of years ago. What a difference. It's like the sun pushed through the clouds.

I agree, CEO Dave becomes more annoying every time I see him on TV. I just mute him when he's on.
