Why don't people understand that if their wage goes up so will the cost of the product? Every company will raise their costs to make up for the increased wages so it is a lose, lose for everyone. If you want to pay $15 for a big Mac or $5 for a soft drink keep pushing for your union backed protests. The only winner will be the unions that are trying to get the workers unionized, not the workers or the rest of the public. Wake up people and see the whole picture of what is really going on.

For once I agree with you. I was saying the same thing these workers get those kind of wages, everyone can kiss the dollar menu goodbye from all fast food restaurants. And no more value menus

Glad to see that you agree. All anyone has to do is to look back 30-40 years ago and see how the country was doing. I can remember when my father brought home $150 a week, we had a house, two cars, food on the table and some money left over to go on vacations, we didn't want for anything. Of course back them the taxes were 1/4 of what they are now, a new car would cost $3500-4000, a gallon of milk was .50 cents. The more people make the more the government gets in taxes and the unions gets more in dues. The best thing for Americans to do is protest the waste and spending in Washington to lower the taxes so they can keep what they earned. Things better change and soon before there is an melt down and a civil upraising.
