Total exxageration from someone who hasn't attended a game this year I'd bet. the parking lot security has gone up tremendously. Fan behavior has been noticeably different (commented on by mult ppl) when you walk through the lots.Walking through the lots to a Bills game is sometimes nothing short of a very scary St Patrick's Day party gone wrong. There's fires burning in 55 gallon drums, people throwing glass beer bottles at each other and at cars and cooking out and throwing garbage all over. Rolling bowling balls down aisles and smashing beer bottles. People on top of buses, campers. Blasting music, fighting, heckling and exposing themselves. I would never take a kid to a game, for their own safety and so they don't see that behavior. We had people try to steal the Sherrif's helicopter before, the 4-wheelers. Once in the stadium, fighting (especially with the opposing fans) is common, throwing beer, urinating in the aisles or at the seat. So the incident surprises no WNYer - Im surprised it hadn't happened sooner. For many, the Bills game is just a huge party where the goal is to get as hammered as possible and act completely outrageous. Doing things you'd never do outside of this atmosphere. This guy was just blasted and that's what happens.
This was an isolated incident by a ridiculously intoxicated guy. He deserves what he gets and it will be a matter of time before the guy he fell on sues him as well
