Hegedorn's in Webster has already been doing this for YEARS, plus they do it for a penny cheaper at $9.99.

I don't get what the big deal is....at one time every Supermarket had curbside service; whether you loaded the groceries in your car yourself or one of the bag boys did it. I don't remember when the conveyer belts disappeared...maybe early 80's???

This one is different in that they actually do the shopping for you. I think it's hilarious. I can't believe that people can't actually park the friggin car, get out, go in the store and shop. Are they afraid of burning a calorie or two? More power to them, I guess. If they can afford an extra $10 per shopping trip, I'd be more than happy to do the shopping for them. It would be fun.

It's for those rich freekers who are way to "busy" to do their own shopping.

Instead of Wegmans having this story as if its starting something NEW, the news should have pointed out in the article that Hegedorns has already been doing it for years and for cheaper.

But mary chao at the democrat and chronicle wouldn't want to let us know that, she rather give Wegmans all the credit.
