People Head To Auto Body Shops to fix Transmissions and windshield wipers?????

I guess if you had a dent in your car from crashing into another car you might want to take it to a transmission repair shop???

People blow out their transmissions by trying to rock the car out of the snow banks by rapidly shifting from drive to reverse.

He obviously is a repair shop . Not a body shop . He's been a constant , in a fubar neighborhood on Norton St . He lives in Webster .

Thank god he's stayed on . Mechanics have had their profits stripped away in NYS by Idiotic fee's , fines , Outrageous Tire , Oil , Fluid disposal fee's .

Also NYS has now made Inspection Centers , Watchdogs for Warrants .

Just what they want , when their trying to support their families .

If someone is wanted the Mechanic must notify the police . The computer does it automatically by means of NYSDL . Registration , when a NYS inspection is conducted the ID is put into the data base . Police state yes ..

I bet they must love having to stall a potential customer while Five - 0 rolls up to make an arrest . And looking over their backs knowing they indirectly caused the arrest .

Don't pay any attention to her, she is a lowlife ghetto troll. She will use other people's names and try to cause trouble at every chance "it" gets. She is a big time black racist know it all bigot yet she can spew her crap and the moderators never seem to do anything to stop her, strange. She has about 25 names and also posts under those also when she doesn't steal other posters name. This trash has been getting away with her lying racist crap since 2008.

Yep, this storm has been a nightmare, I've already gone through 3 transmissions trying to get out of snow banks.

Jiffy Lube fixed the first two transmissions, but I think I'm going to go to a collision shop to fix this latest one, so that its fixed properly.

Action Towing also very busy, but no mention of that "winter weather transmission failure" phenomenon that is filling up Jim's Body Shop and Wiper Repair.

No kidding, I was just telling you that, Action Towing didn't mention it.

Why do you insist on trying to maintain a conversation with someone you consider a dumb-ass?

Here's another Body Show after the Storm news report, but no mention of the body shop doing those "transmission repairs" caused by storms.

Jim,(which I assume was the owner) was really mean and nasty. I went there to get and you tired they had to order it from Buffalo which was fine when they actually put the new tire on the wrong one on. it was another cars tire. So they called me to come back. They took my car to the back and put the right one on. Great. I went on my way and I noticed my brakes werent working so well. Mind you, I got brand new brakes 2 weeks prior. I really believe that they did something to my brakes. I called back to see if they noticed anything else on my car or "if my brakes werent right", he just started being rude and mean. Bad customer service.Do not go there.

Jim's service center of Rochester has been taking care of my cars for many years, my entire family and many friends drive from surrounding areas to receive the professional service provided by Jim's, not only do they do great automotive repair on any make/model, they also have an awesome collision department. Jim is always very good with all his customers, providing one of the nicest facilities I've seen in all of Rochester, the shop is very clean and modern, Jim's service will always have my business and his company is a great asset to our community.
