Lovely Warren was on Bob Losberry and said there is many building downtown that would love to have a police substation and would let the RPD have one in their building for FREE, so paying the owners of the Sibley's building millions for rent is silly, especially if the RPD is now going to be the only tenant.

Didn't you know that managing cost has no place in politics? Of course there's a tons of vacant buildings they could lease space in, for low low low cost. But no palms get greased that way.

Wegamns didn't charge the RPD or the City for the police substation in at the Driving PK store.
Walmart in Gates don't charge the GPD for the substation in their parking-lot.

And cops never having to pay for their coffee and donuts in any coffee shop or gas station then I don't know what "gratuities" are.

Yeah right!!!!

You have no idea how easy it is to get out of a ticket when you offer to pay one the spot!!!!
NO court issues,
NO points on the license
NO increase on insurance ...

It's so much easier to just pay one crooked cop than the whole system!

I have been accused of speeding when I wasn't, and yet in court, where it is a cop's word against mine ... guess who pays.

Nothing is free in this country anymore ...
This land of the "FREE" is under attack.

The problem with RADAR is that it sees EVERYTHING equally. Where the human eye can only focus on one thing at a time.

So, bottom line is: if a cop is looking at YOUR car going a normal speed, and a different car is speeding ... YOU get the ticket because the cop was looking at you!

Once I was speeding at night, I was in the slow lane of the 590 and I was just about to over take a slow moving car in the middle lane on my left side.
I had to be going over 90, and then all the sudden a cop car was in front of us in one of those turn arounds, well the guy on the left of me who was driving the speed limit hit his brakes, and instead of hitting my brakes and risk the cop seeing my brake lights I just down shifted big time.
The car on the left of now seemed to be going faster as it pulled away from me with his bright brake lights lighting up the ground on the highway.
The cop pulled out and passed me and pulled the other guy over, the other guy who wasn't speeding.
And I moved to the far left passing lane and passed both of them doing 55mph. lol

question how do you know what car he was tracking

hint:
doppler radar unit that may be hand-held, vehicle-mounted or static.......it measures the speed of the objects at which it is pointed by detecting a change in frequency of the returned radar signal caused by the Doppler effect, whereby the frequency of the returned signal is increased in proportion to the object's speed of approach if the object is approaching, and lowered if the object is receding. Such devices are frequently used for speed limit enforcement

you were speeding
