The only thing Chavez is guilty of is nationalizing Venezuela's oil industry. You should see what the citizens of Venezuela pay for a gallon of gas! It's like America in the 50's.

Speaking of nationalizing oil assets. Y'all don't seem to have a problem with Saudi Arabia,Qatar,UAE and those other most cheerful familial dictatorships.

At least the US isn't spending billions to protect Iran,Cuba, and Venezuela.

Who benefits by invading Iraq and keeping their oil offline? The country and it's little cousins that owns the US of A. The kingdoms of Saudi Arabia,et al. The price went up and the speculators dived in as well. Speculators such as good old Bain Capital. You hate high petroleum prices--yet you're willing to get down on your knees and fellate the hedge fund capitalists. And yes,I'm aware of Venezuela being a member of OPEC. But we don't involve ourselves in military conflicts on Venezuela's behalf.

Speaking of Cuba, she has shown the world a little island country can withstand an embargo from the great big US of A. Cuba is a better country without US government and US Mafia influence.

The US of A is one big zombie. She does nothing but consume. Hasn't won a military conflict since WWII and is willing to bankrupt her civilian infrastructure to keep the military industrial complex full/flush in billions and billions of taxpayer dollars.

I assume you live in the USA, but I will be glad to purchase a one way ticket to Cuba for you.

Who benefits from a war with Iraq? I will assume you mean besides the Iraqi people that lived under a dictatorship, in a country whose leader was known to use terror and chemical weapons. But besides that, well the liberals in this country benefit, because for one, it provides a distraction for someone with zero qualifications to be elected to the office of POTUS, and it also keeps us from drilling for our own oil. You see, the main difference in us and Venezuela is that they actually take advantage of their resources.

I may take you up on that. They have great health care there. Their literacy rate is 98%. The USA is around 75% and we can't afford health care.

Maso, you should feel right at home in the UASR, Union of American Socialist Republics. your socialist president from Nairobi has everything under control. And his Queen from Georgetown, South Carolina can handle what he can't. have a socialist day, Maso.

A good rule of thumb, for judging the leader of any country in the world, is to look at how many Hollywood celebrities support them, and who those celebrities are. I guess I am supposed to think that someone who has spent their life in a world of "make believe", somehow knows more about life than I do. You can throw musicians into that group too.
