I wish I wasn't attracted to the idea of more inmates taking their lives but I am. As Americans I think we deserve a prison system that kills more prisoners, the more dead, the more beds, the more people we can put in jail. For every suicidal prisoner the economy jumps 2 percent, limitless possibilities - LIMITLESS

He won't have killed himself, if he wasn't falsely accused. Now the alleged victim has to live with this the rest of his life and didn't realize how seriously our society takes even unfounded charges like this. More than likely one day he too will commit suicide due to the extreme guilt and those involved in making the premature arrest would be to blame for the tragic lost of both lives.

In Aiken County it took over two years to serve an arrest warrant against Thomas Briard in April 2008 for criminal sexual conduct with a minor and lewd act x 2 after a magistrate signed the warrants in September 2006 for allegations received about an incident that happened on December 12, 2005. The Aiken County Sheriff's Office didn't even serve the warrant, it was served by the SC Highway Patrol during a stop where he was also charged for DUI.

What is the one crime a man can be accused of that no matter what the truth is, he will be forever condemned? So lets say it was a lie and the man was innocent. His life was over!

Make someone mad at you and let them call DSS and say you abused a child. You are guilty with no hope of defense. You life is forfeit, over, done. Even it the you are proved innocent your name is gone.

Anyone can make a claim to DSS and they are protected even if they lie. Make someone at church mad and just think how much bigger it is played in the media.

I mad someone that mad but what they and DSS didn't expect is my stepdaughters grandfather used to be the head of DSS. I went straight to him first. It was the only time I know of that DSS trembled in an investigation. Lucky for me the other people making the claims wouldn't stop and proved that someone had it in for me. How ever there was nothing that I could do but suffer through it. Not to mention what my daughter had to go through.

Let me ask you this what would any of you thought of me??? Same reaction that you have here???? You you try to burn my house down or have me killed?

I was lucky because I had a very powerful friend and let me tell you if he thought it was true I would have been under the prison. So if by chance this man could have been framed ask yourself who will be punished now?

Regardless of what he was in jail for, I would investigate the jail. It was probably a murder made to look like suicide. The law enforcement community in Spartanburg is known for it's corruption. Probably one of the guards killed him.
