Hey dumb ass,(pay attention georgie), I asked which drugs in the ICU are based on "junk science", as george stated drugs are "junk science".

The chiropractor, who sounds like he's one ignorant idiot, answered fen-fen.

And more made up quotes. You truly are a chiropractor.

Keep posting. I think people are getting the idea just how depraved you chiroquackers are.

But let's talk "fen-fen" for a bit. As you know, the FDA took "fen-fen", as diet controlling drugs off the market. Derivations of both drugs are still used today for important medical reasons. Not that this quack chiro would know.

To note, the medical establishment, which saves billions of lives per year, continually attempts to practice "best practices" care.

Ciropractic, on the other hand, has NEVER EVER denied or denounced any of the 200+ bizarre chiropractic treatments. Indeed, the way that the founder DD the quack Palmer, performed his "procedure" is currently allowed today by every state and national chiropractic association, every state chiropractic law, Indeed, 70% of ALL chiropractors use the bizarre clicker activator. No proof, no evidence, no nothing.

Just more evidence of quackery.

Nuf said.

Hey dumb ass aerial, feel free to prove me wrong on anything I've stated. Or call me names. probably what you do best anyway.

Off to skiing. Hunter got 16+ inches. Nothing better. By the way, I'll be skiing with an ex chiropractor. We'll have a good laugh at the chiropractors like aerial who continually attempt to justify their BS.

You hear that, Georgie? Wisdom said Fen fen isn't used in critical care therefore it's "acceptable to poison people with it.'
Now do you see how depraved this fraud, wisodm, is?
"As long as fen fen wasn't used in critical care, what difference does it make who gets injured by it."
Wisdom is the definition of dumb ass. I can see why that board certified neurologist called wisdom "an embarrassment to the medical community."

Mr. Wisdom,

You do not possess the skill set to argue in this forum. In order to carry on an intelligent conversation, or in this case argue the validity of a profession, you need to have more than a cursory understanding of that profession. I can tell, by your posts, that you know just enough about medicine to be dangerous. You know far less about chiropractic methodology and practice objectives. You're what we refer to in the trade as a repeater. You parrot the unintelligent responses of others that also lack knowledge of this subject matter.

Your response to any post is always the same. You regularly claim that, "Chiropractic does not demonstrate best practice parameters for when to use, or how to treat, any particular condition with a particular chiropractic technique."

First of all, best practice parameters are quite subjective and still widely debated by many professionals within modern medicine.

What are best practice parameters?

"There is no universally accepted definition of a 'best practice.'

(The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health)

Most people assume that a best practice parameter, "is one that upon rigorous evaluation, demonstrates success, has had an impact, and can be replicated."

(The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health)

None of those qualities can be observed within the practice of medicine.

Medicine, by its own admission, has never cured any diseases. It is not a science! It is based on theory, a poor one at that. Medicine is the ultimate in junk-science, always has been, always will be.

Traditional or subluxation-centered chiropractic does not have the objective of removing or diminishing symptoms being experienced by patients. The techniques utilized by straight chiropractors are designed to correct subluxations that inhibit proper nerve function in the body. Improper nerve function can alter proper body physiology. Removal of that interference can only be beneficial to the physiology. In many situations, symptoms spike or increase after subluxation correction because this is how the body heals. Drugs, besides being very toxic, can halt physiological actions that are beneficial to the overall organism. Allopathic medicine, by definition, is a practice dedicated to reversing body physiology. This is not a great idea when attempting to manage the wellbeing of patients unless emergency care procedures are taking place.

The spinal adjustment was never meant to be a cure for a disease process. Chiropractic care, like medicine, cures absolutely nothing. The body is able to adapt better to its environment, however, when the nervous system is not being interfered with due to spinal subluxations.

You can argue the point, until the cows come home, that subluxations are imaginary and not provable by medical science. This is like playing tic-tac-toe. We're never going to get anywhere in this forum.

You believe that the medical research being performed is credible and I and many others in healthcare know that the research being performed, on behalf of medicine, is quite compromised and funded by pharmaceutical corporations.

If you want to call me names and tell me to empty my diaper, that's your prerogative. I think we have already established through our posts, however, that you, my friend, is the one that is out of his league. I think we have also identified, for health care consumers, that this site/blog is the hangout for pharmaceutical funded shills attempting to scare people away from safer approaches to staying healthy.

Shame on you Mr. Wisdom and the people associated with your campaign.

"goergie"claimed, "Medicine, by its own admission, has never cured any diseases."

Ever hear of syphilis "georgie"?

You want to talk straight chiropractic georgie? Straight chiropractic is outright quackery. Period. There are currently more than 200 chiropractic techniques that claim to be able to locate and remove those disease causing subluxations. I'm familiar with most and an expert on many.

Fact: there is no evidence that supports the claims of ANY of those techniques.

Fact: no two chiropractors can evern agree on how to define much less locate, a "chiropractic subluxation. Period.

And "georgie", if you don't know what "best practices" is when applied to patients care, then you really are quite ignorant. "Best practices" is used in legitimate health care, by medical doctors, PAs and nurses.

georgie, there are no "best practices" in chiropractic. Hence you'll find chiropractors treating the "same" patient" in totally different ways and without any evidence for treating them with any particular technique. Period.

You still want to say I'm paid by drug companies? You're either very paranoid or very very ignorant. Probably both. Sounds like you'd make a "fine" chiropractor.

proving once again, its time to empty the chiropractic diaper.

But georgie, here's your chance .... thousands of chiropractors claim to treat bed wetting.( I know its a stupid claim and that most children just outgrow it) but tell me, with evidence, which chiropractic technique has been shown to be most effective at curing bed wetting.

Take you time georgie. I'l check in later.

Oh and just so you don't forget, you previously claims that medicine was "junk science". So I'll ask again, which drugs, commonly used in ICUs, are "junk science?

I do thank you for posting georgie. Your quack friend was getting boring with all his fabricated quotes.( not that it bothered you because he's a chiroquacker). You quacks stick together. Nothing new there.

P.S. "Evidence-based medicine (EBM) or evidence-based practice (EBP) aims to apply the best available evidence gained from the scientific method to clinical decision making.[1] It seeks to assess the strength of evidence of the risks and benefits of treatments (including lack of treatment) and diagnostic tests.[2] Evidence quality can range from meta-analyses and systematic reviews of double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials at the top end, down to conventional wisdom at the bottom."

Fact, there is NO evidenced based practice in the chiropractic enterprise.

Only a moron would claim otherwise.

Off topic, but this has to be mentioned again.
Another topix reported the death of a Paul Pisko, D.C. a true humanitarian and a great chiropractor.
He was 44 years old.
Here is what wisdom wrote about his death:
"He was just a quack -- good riddance!
Empty his chiropractic diaper into his COFFIN!"

The above is an EXACT quote from wisdom. Why would ANYONE take advice from such a depraved prick?
As I've been telling you all along. Wisdom knows nothing about chiropractic. He failed in his life and is now taking it out on successful chiropractors. EVERYTHING wisdom writes is a lie.
Again, refer to what he said about Dr. Pisko, then just ignore everything wisdom writes from now on.
I'll be posting this hundreds, if not thousands of times in a row. Everyone has to know what kind of jerk wisodm really is. Beyond depraved. He's a despicable excuse for a human.

Hey Wisdumb:

Those best practice parameters were written by and sponsored by the same research groups that are owned by the pharmaceutical companies.

By the way, here's another bogus website that is completely owned and operated by the drug companies. Like the anti-chiro posters on this forum, it is filled with paid writers employed by the drug companies. Game - Set - Match!

"In more whistle-blowing quarters, WebMD is synonymous with Big Pharma Shilling. A February 2010 investigation into WebMD’s relationship with drug maker Eli Lilly by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa confirmed the suspicions of longtime WebMD users. With the site’s (admitted) connections to pharmaceutical and other companies, WebMD has become permeated with pseudomedicine and subtle misinformation." - NY TIMES MAGAZINE By VIRGINIA HEFFERNAN

Georgie, a fine example of a dumb ass chiropractor is aerial. Truly an ignorant and lying quack. And you, george, are unable to denounce his stupidity and lying. Just like all the other quacks who post here.

And george, the FACT of the matter is ... medicine, the profession that has saved literally billions of lives, has NOTHING to do with chiropractic. Period.

fact of the matter is that NO chiropractic technique has any evidence or research to support its use. Period.

When you are ready to debate bizarre chiropractic treatments like activator or logan basic, let me know.

There is no legitimate evidence that would even show that they are better than placebo.

And george, I noticed that when I asked you to tell me the name of just ONE drug, commonly used in ICUs, is, as you claimed, "junk science", you retorted, " anti-chiro posters on this forum, it is filled with paid writers employed by the drug companies".

Thank you georgie, you made my points.
