Horribly mean people who don't care about your money situation and will walk straight to your bedroom since, in their words, "if we ask, they'll just say no." It's just a scam with nasty people who hate themselves and want you to hate yourself for buying an overpriced vacuum.

I had the same experience today as the gentleman above. The people barge right in to your house and basically tell you to watch there demostration. Then they get angry when you dont buy. Horrible business ethics!! Good product, terrible business and management.

They showed up at my house with four people in the vehicle. Kind of creeped me out since most salespeople only come in ones. They did not like it that I would not let them in my house. I really thought these people where just out to steal something. Very bad customer service!!!

I loved it. The one guy that came was super nice and polite. I told him that I would have to talk to my husband and he said fine. I called him the next day and we purchased. The product is great. My house has never been so clean and fresh.

I was approached the same way with multiple people on the van but only 2 came to my door. I found them to be funny, sincere, hard working young men. The young man that did the demonstration was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He even insisted on cleaning my adjoining dining room because he didn't want to leave with it unfinished because it was in such a stark contrast to the shampooed room. I bought the Kirby and have enjoyed it very much. While it is true that it is a bit pricey, it has been worth every penny.
One last thing, when I went to use my shampoo unit, I had some questions about it and called their office. They responded by sending a representative out to my house that re- taught me how to shampoo and answered any other questions I had. The representative actually shampooed the room for me while he was there. You can imagine my surprise when I found out that the representative was the owner of the franchise. I live well over an hour from the office and I placed the call at 5:00 on a Friday and explained I had a birthday party at my home the next day. He said to say no more and took my address and was at my home before 7. Anyway you cut it, that's tremendous customer service.

They showed up at my house after 7 pm wanting to give a demonstration, I told them I was not interested. And they said it would only take a few minutes and that was how they got paid to show the product even if I did not buy. Good product but bad business procedures.

The sales representative keep saying that he did not care if I buy their vacuum or not, he just wants to collect some kind of points to go on vacation. DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!!! IT IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!! Very suspicious behavior....he went from room to room "checking out what he could clean" but yet I got an impression that he wanted to see what valuables I have so he can come and steal them later. Very creeeeeepy!

The same thing happened the other day. A van with three people pulled up,but only two came in, then the guy in the van came in and the other guy left. I was really suspicious, but they turned out to be super polite and shampooed my entire family room carpet! We were going to get one, but it was just going to be to much on us right now. They thanked us and were super nice about it. If I had the money I would def get one!!

Terrible experience with these people! Their salesman was very bright and friendly, but the way they barged into my house and insisted on going on with the demonstration despite we were finishing dinner and had to put our baby to bed soon. They make it sound like the demo will be 20-30 minutes. They were in my house for 2 hours! Evening shot! Maybe I do need a new cleaner, but not for $1000!
They stirred up so much dust in my house, I had to take the next day off of work to clean everything again, buy new bedsheets and air out the house to get my wife's asthma back under control!
Do not let these people into your house! I'm sure the product is great. I've talked to someone who has had a Kirby for 20+ years. These peoples business tactics are poor and I would not suggest doing business with them.
I'd encourage everyone who had a bad experience with them to lodge a complaint with the BBB.

I'm just getting off and this man is trying to sell my husband a$3000 Kirby vacuum and he has been here for over an hour. He went from downstairs, made his way to my stairs and some how he went up to our bedroom!! It's very creepy but all I know is that our sheriff Chuck Wright said Stand Your Ground and that's what we're going to do.

HAs anyone been robbed as a result of these vultures? I was approached by three people as well and was creeped out immediately im just scared they will come back and steal my family belongings and our peace of mind about leaving thehouse. I fear to leave the house in fear of them returning and raping my house.

I have been reading over everyone's comments good and bad but the main thing I see is that we barge into your houses. A kirby repersentative sets up an appointment with you. All a person has to do is say no Im not interested in buying your product. And to th person who had to stay home to "clean" his house bc of all the dirt??? Thats crazy. We lay a 100 pads and if you got dust everywhere you may need to check on finacing for a kirby. It would really be good for your wifes asthma.
