Great Service????? If you dont mind being swore at or your life threatened. I would never step foot in the place again. I think this is ran by a low life thug who is trying extremely hard to scare people into idolizing him. This is not a respectable place and i would extremely discourage any one from visiting, escpecially if you have children with.

For as long as we have lived here Angellini's has given us great food and in a timely manner. The driver was always friendly and went the extra mile. However caring about customer concerns the waitstaff and delivery staff, the owner and managers seem to care less; so much to the point that we were yelled at by the owner and told that our records of odering were wrong. Seems to me that the manager should have taken an anger management course or two.

To give the situation: June 14, 2009 we placed our order for 2 XL pepperoni pizzas because we were having friends over. The call was placed at 7:52pm and we were told 45 minutes to 1 hour for delivery: fine and dandy with us. When 9:20 rolled around and we had no dinner, we called to see what was the cause of the delay. We were told that the driver mixed up an order and had just left for our place: again, an understandable mistake, but no real problem. However, 15 minutes later, we still had no dinner. We called (yes, this time a little put off) and said that we placed the order around an hour and a half ago- we were told (despite looking at the call log which documented our time) that we were mistaken about the time the order was placed - this was by the manager Stephanie. We ask for some form of compensation because of the time delay and bad treatment: essentially we were told to bugger off.

The driver arrived when we were on the phone and since we had been treated so badly, we decided against the pizzas (sorry driver, we know it wasn't your fault and you are really friendly to us every time we order from you) and told Stephanie the manager that we were sending them back.

I wanted the owner to know that our concerns weren't even being considered, so I called back, asked for Stephanie's manager, and presumably got the owner(after much insistence that he was too busy to come to the phone)... as i post this this was perhaps 1/2 hour ago.

What i got from the manager was him telling me I was lying about the treatment we got, no, not telling me, yelling at me and not letting me get a word in edgewise. He told me I was lying about what the manager said (when i overheard all the conversations) because he was standing right there. He yelled, said some things that he probably wouldn't want repeated,"Go order from Pollack's if you don't like it" and hung up on me as i was trying to talk to him.

I have a degree in management; not to toot my own horn, but i think I can tell what is a good managerial plan of action is, and what isn't. This definately wasn't: I have never been so poorly treated (and felt personally attacked)by someone I had a legitimate complaint with.

To Mr. Angellini: you have made your point very clear: you wish to be seen as a mafia bad guy in a small town, to intimidate your way out of addressing legitimate concerns, to frighten people out of receiving what you promise them. It will not work.

To the employees of Angellini's: I'm sorry to hear about the boss's behavior towards his workers- for those of you who have experienced what I reference(I won't say here for fear of getting this post removed for slander), there are actions you can take.

To the residents of Sparta: use your influence as a consumer to stop a town bully like this. WOuld you want to be treated in this manner? I didn't think so: if we want this to change, we are the ones to bring it about.

To Pizza Hut, Pollacks Pizza, Slice of Chicago, and any other pizza purveyors of Sparta: enjoy the increased business because of Mr. Angellini.
