well i know there alot of t-j basher an all the complaints after his first couple games as starter for the vikings but t-j is health now able to run an pose a threat to a defense i happen to know that jacksonville backed way off when he came in for the one play he ran an ,what a beauty it was on that fake hand off ,an then given it on a end around by the way it result in a viking 1st down, an the offense gain alot of confendence after that play even after freotte threw the pick they still had swagger... i do believe if the vikings are going to go deep in to the play-offs travis jackson would take them there ,,,, i'm positive if it freotte it be one an done... the defense has won the games for us fan up to date... offense is still med-oaker..he could be the difference i believe those boys hang on to his passes an we got moementem........just a thought

I've been a Vikings fan for ever and while it's nice to cling to hope that is all that it is. The remainder of the season is going to be too much for the Vikes to overcome and still be playoff contentions.

My opinion, I say sure throw TJ in let him f it up, we lose a game, hell throw in the next ones too so we can lose that. I'm sure everyone is freaking out now but think of it like this. We don't make the playoffs we lose Childress (finally), we all know he sucks how can you have that much talent and still struggle so bad? Second we don't make the playoff we are awarded a nice draft pick to recruit a better quarterback. 3rd we still have a bunch of money too to play with to buy and get better contracts. But that's just me.

Vikings - Why they won't:

you forgot to mention that the head coach is a complete moron.

Vikings have the toughest road to win the division. Got CHI, DET, ARZ, ATL, and NYG. Only saving grace is that they get CHI, ATL, and NYG at home. To take the division, I think the vikes have to finish up 10-6. GB and CHI can easily go 9-7...

Travis Jackson may be good enough to get the Vikes deep into the playoffs, Let me know if they sign him. Unfortunately, Tavaris Jackson lacks the experience and the talent (right now) to get the job done.

The only I say only problem is the QB and who do the Vikings fans have to thank? You guessed it none other than the great HC we have. He is the one responable for our great passing game. Why can't the owner see this Get rid of him. He had the chance to have a QB that could pass But you guessed it we have Gus AND TJ great.

I keep waiting to hear when the suspensions are coming for Pat and Kevin. Hopefully they'll catch a break, but I'm not holding my breath. Without them, any division title hopes are significantly reduced.

Childress doesn't think this is the biggest game of his coaching career? Figure it out, man. You're in your third year, after posting 6-10 and 8-8 records your first two years, and had your handpicked QB literally throw away your playoff hopes against Washington last year. Your team's fans want you gone, and you remain extremely unpopular despite your team's winning record.

Face it Brad: you lose this game (on your home field), and your team can kiss its playoff hopes good-bye. It is absolutely the biggest game of your career.

I hope we lose out. Get rid of Childress. Sign a QB. And, make a real run next year. Even if the Vikes win the North and get in the play-offs, they will be 1 and done. In addition, they'll have to live with Childress longer...Yikes. If this talented group had another HC, we would be 9 and 2, or 8 and 3 right now. Go (insert opposing team name) for the remainder of the season!

Look I'm no fan of T-Jack,and Gus is exactly what he is, and thats a career BACK-UP period. We gave away two third rd.picks to get him, he's had enough time to watch and learn from Gus so I say lets see what he's got.Chilly's got to open up the play book and let him develope,roll-outs,bootleg and use that cannon of an arm.Hell just throw it and let Berrian go get it. Work for Cunningham/Moss you never know? Secoundly Chilly should turn him loose when their playing us man coverage,he'd be fifteen yards down field before anyone notices him.

Go Vikes. You deserve to be a lions fan when you wish your team to lose. Your pathetic! Go away and never come back again. I think you should be beaten within an inch of your life for dribble like that. Go TJack!

Sorry Queen Fans. Your party ends Sunday. And good luck with that schedule. Bears win the North. Count on it.

The Packers looked like they were in trouble last night versus the Saints. The Bears have a suspect pass defense. The Vikings are pretty suspect through the air too, on both sides of the ball. But the team did seem to fix its most glaring weakness, which was special teams. A lot still depends on Gus Frerotte, who is starting to play the way he has throughout his career, and Childress who still calls baffling plays from time to time.

OOOOHHHH...playoff team out of the NFC north...the worst division in the NFL!!! That's something to be proud of. At least Childless has taken the bull by the horns and benched AP for not showing up to a meeting on time. And kudos to AP for taking responsibility and not whining!!!

Yet another example of why Childress is clueless. This game is for the division lead with only four games to go after and he still does not realize it's his biggest game to date. You're in your third season, have not produced a winning season yet despite having good talent, so you better figure it out soon or you are GONE. As far as TJ starting, YIKES, really, have you all forgot how he looked in those first two games. What makes you think he improved, by his nine games since then and sitting on the bench. I know the back-up QB is usually the favorite on any team that has a struggling starter, but come on, let's get real. Gus does make me quizzy, but at least he can wing it downfield with accuracy if given the chance, but then that brings us back to coach clueless again doesn't it.
