You get on here a bash the Haley's about covering up stuff. Stuff has been covered up for years. When I was in middle school and high school (this was in the late 70's early 80's) the teen age girls was having sex with the male teachers back then. Donny wasn't the SI back then. Mr. Haley has done a awesome job and I dont think he has covered anything up. So get over yourself.

Donnie Haley is one of those no bull tell it like it is people you know exactly were you stand , when he tells you something you can take it to the bank.He has been so physically responsible with our money when the new middle school was built we paid cash the same thing for north field the new wing at the high school the freshman academy. Some may say he is tight but we haven't had to have a tax increase or a wheel tax to pay and we are not in debt and have enough cash in the bank to build another new school if we need to. I challenge you to show another administrator who has his kind of track record, yea some may say he's tight but if we managed other areas of our government like has been done under his leadership maybe we wouldn't have the messes we have in the county and city government.Hay
Donnie might make a great county Mayor

That is just a rumor based on what people 'think'...not on any fact. The truth of the matter is that daddy did make sure he had jr and his wife in place before he left (I know she decided to stay home with her baby...which neither of them wanted her to do.) They both MADE her go back to work after the baby was born ALTHOUGH she did take at least one day off every week AND left on A LOT of other days. He wouldn't let ANY other teacher stay home for the rest of the year after they had a baby, but she did. He did let another teacher only work 1/2 day, but that was only to cover his hind end for what he was doing for his daughter-in-law (imho) When things didn't go Mrs. Haley's way, she just put in a call to daddy-in-law and she was taken care of. Jr. says he doesn't want the high school yet, but it's pretty understood that he will end up head principal somewhere someday. He does NOT deserve it. He didn't EARN it. That's what I dislike and resent most about him. I heard he spends a LOT of his day working on basketball stuff rather than middle school stuff. He makes the nurse and the bookkeeper do a lot of his basketball stuff too which I don't think is right. They are both so arrogant it makes me sick.
There was a lot not right about Donny Haley's job. He's a manipulator and was allowed to do whatever he wanted by the school board, but I think the new school board members have kindof sucked the wind out of his sail a little bit which is kind of funny. Donny Haley had a lot more power than people realized. That's how a lot of wrongdoing got swept under the rug. You just wouldn't believe how much he has gotten away with.
I wrote this post, and I've regretted it ever since. I'm ashamed that I participated in a 'gossip' site, even though I wrote what I believe to be the truth. I do know that both Haley's have done good things too, and I focused on the negative which is wrong. So I apologize to the Haley family and everyone on this site as well.

Donny and Bryan Haley are both HUGE jokes!!! Bryan is a lil dip shit that thinks he runs the middle school. Sue Carmichael would also be a terrible choice for Superintendent, she is just hateful and uncaring. Put it to a vote and let the people elect someone. Our children deserve better than these people. Especially Haley and LIL Haley!!!!

Maybe huh? I don't decide things on maybe.
And name calling is a useless exercise. Some facts would help me.
Anyone with actual facts they can share?

I am glad with the job that Haley has done! he doesn't let other people tell him how he should do his job and he has handle our money well. Look at the other surrounding counties and the hardship they are facing. When you work in a public office there is no way to keep everybody happy. You better hope that the next person is not only a people pleaser.

Just look and see that the white county school system is one of the best financial secure systems. When other school systems are laying off and having to increase taxes white county has enough cash in the bank to build a new school and pay for it and has no debt what else needs to be said .

the reason there is all this money in the bank is because he ISN'T spending that money educating your children...and YET you people seem to be okay with that.

how are the children not getting educated???

The education is offer and there for the students that want to excel. We have students that have and are attending nursing school at Tennessee Tech this is not easy. To qualify you have to have A high GPA and that would be acquire through our education for them to be able to go to college and obtain that high of A GPA. Tech only accepts 48 students per semester for the nursing program and this is on GPA alone. I believe we have at least 3 to 4 students in that 48 that made it. That is pretty good odds.3 of the students are Dakota Hickey, Meghan Herren & Megan Jones they will be starting upper division nursing in January We also had Anna Vaughn Benningfield to graduate from the nursing program and then also receive her Masters and is now A Nurse Practitioner at Doctor Griffin office, and Casey Moore that is in her second year. Please do not knock our local education. Do not get me wrong I think A change could be good in leadership and would love to see Sandra Crouch get the position if she applies. She has A great love for children and we do need someone that cares about our youth.Remember nursing is very hard to get accepted in at Tech there are thousands of students there, and A lot applied that never make it in the program I think that has A lot to say about our education system.average GPA out of 4.0 is 3.5 and up.Please just prayer for our students and lift them up.Some children have other interests in life and they are getting A education as well. We also have several students on the dean list at different colleges all that were educated through our school system. I am very proud of our school board and I do believe our children are the most important thing to them.
