Where are the best places to take your child trick-or-treating around Sparta/White Co.?

Are there any churches, stores, or community’s doing anything special for the kids this year?

Or any other Halloween activities planned in the area that you know of?

Thanks for any info!!

Not sure on times but First Baptist always puts on a great Fall Fest. I saw a sign up for Freedom Baptist, I believe but don't quote me, that it was from 1-4. This is located in the Cassville area. I also like to take them in the gillen, rainbow and mt.vernon sub. However, houses are low from when i went when i was little. I think because everyone flocks to First Baptist. Trinity Assembly in Algood is worth the drive, lots of activities to do there.

I always take my kids to NHC. Those folks up there enjoy the kids and it is a safe enviroment. It does good for all involved

The Sparta-White Co. Rescue Squad gives out candy for the kids. So its a safe place to take kids. And so is NHC.

Doyle will be having a haunted woods, trunk or treating, a chili contest and other free stuff. It'd be a great place to take the family. It'll be at the Doyle ball park.

Sparta First Baptist (across from Food Lion) has a GREAT festival with free hot dogs, chili, drinks, inflated "bounce" houses and other attractions, games, and (of course) LOTS of candy - trunkloads, to be exact! Great fun from 4-7 p.m.
