What's the latest with the rate hike and other problems?

Has attorney Mike Galligan made any progress with the lawsuit?

How many people came forward to sign an affidavit as witnesses to employee wrongdoing?

What about the petitions?

Is there another community meeting scheduled? If so, when?

Are people losing interest?

I haven't heard anything since the lawyer got involved. I think the regular monthly meeting is this coming monday.

Yes, that's right. Monday 11/16 is the 3rd Monday of this month, the regularly scheduled meeting of the BDC water board. Does anyone know if another community meeting has been scheduled at the school? I'm sure people will want an update on how the lawyer is using the money donated to hire him.

Heard that their lawyer quit on them. Guess he took the money ( if he was actually ever given the money) and did nothing. Heard the ones in charge are running for cover, Heard their names were given out at the water meeting heard it was michelle rollins, penny whaley, margaret parks, mc billings, jerry austin, milton herron. Heard they requested over 150 documents and that they cost the district, the Bondecroft community over 3500.oo dollars in employee hours, attorney fees, etc. Heard one tried to get her name off list but she spent two entire days up at water department making copies and employees had to assist and monitor her. There isn't anything "free" these people costs this district wasted dollars and they should be held accountable. And no I'm not connected in any way to the water department just a person calling it like it is and been a supporter of our water department the entire time and proud of it. Heard all this was put in the minutes and anybody can get a copy of them at the water office. Thats what I heard.

Does anyone know the reason for the fundraiser at BDC School this Friday, December 11th? Since their lawyer quit, why are they raising funds? How is the money raised Friday night going to be used? The announcement flyers that were distributed don't explain that. Does anyone know why their lawyer quit?

Does anyone else care about this and want some answers, especially those of us who have already donated toward the cost of the lawyer?

It is only hear say, but I was told that the lawyer told them not to talk about it so much and let him do his job. I have not heard that he quit from anywhere except on topix. I know that several people suggested that they didn't have a meeting every month unless there was new news. I was sick and did not get to attend the last meeting so I don't know if they talked about this then or not. I do care about how things are going too maybe there will be another meeting to get us caught up soon.

had the chili supper tonight to raise money for a audit. Lawyer has not quit!! Lawyer said had a real good case against water company!!

water dept already had a audit. Only the state or court can order an audit. A lawyer can not. How can funds be raised for something ordered by neither???? If lawyer had " a real good case" why would there be a need for any audit???? Why have papers not been filed with the only agency that governs the utility board? That being the State Utility Review Board? There was no charge for bringing the water department before the review board unless the charges were unfounded. The petitions had to be filed with the review board within 90 days of the first signature. Why were these not filed???? Where is the money really going???? Does anyone know the truth????

Your money is going to replace gas, time and money spent by a few involved. If you were told that the money for the fund raiser was for an audit you were hoodooed. An audit has been done by the state (required) If you are that gullable and have money to give please give me your email address I know good people who really need help right now.
