very disappointing service. Our waitress nearly tipped my drink over, almost dropped my soup, then did drop my husbands pizza in the floor after we had waited quite awhile for it to cook. Then he had to wait for another one. No discount was offered. When I asked for one, they gave us 10% off the pizza price only, which is basically about a dollar off. I thought they should have at least comped the pizza. We won't go back.

I've been there three times. The first time, the waitress was a little too attentive. It was annoying. However, after that, I have no complaints. The food is wonderful.... especially the lasagna and veal parmesan!

Great food, great prices and you get PLENTY of food for the price.. Leftovers are always great. Like any business they're not going to be perfect but I go there often.. mostly on weekends and they always have a good crowd there. I enjoy seeing old friends I havent seen in a while when I go. Overall I like the place.

Good food, plenty of it. It's for that reason I quit going. I've lost allot of weight, but if you want to be a fat azz then this is the place for you.

I have had crappy service in a whole mess of restaurants, including Luna. We go back for decent food at a fair price.
If you want top quality servers you should go to a place that sells $50.00 steaks, just sayin.

Whenever I get a chance to get in town, I stop in there with a few of my beautiful ladies. They love to see the zip walk in the door!! I always tip big and it's well worth it for the food and service I get.

Those waitresses love to flirt with me, I know it's so they can get a bigger tip, that's OK!! they have to make a living too. I makes me feel good that they think that much of me.

Women love me.

The only big tip they will get has to come from your wallet because the ladies tell me you don't have a big tip anywhere else on ya.

Average food, average service.

Too bad they don't make fresh pasta. So easy and so cheap. And sooo much better.

Most of the restaurants in Sparta rely on frozen entrees and appetizers from the Food Service companies. Save your money, shop at Sam's Club and you'll be getting the same quality food.

Had the Chicken Parm tonight!! Loved it! Just as good and cheaper than driving all the way to cookeville.

Awe come on now, don't be cruel dude. That isn't true. I happen to think that all women are beautiful and they should be respected at all times. I guess that's why I get so many personal messages. Women like how I think and they like how I trerat them. I'm not being conceited, it's just the way it is.

I can't help it if women love me.

we eat there alot like the food is good. sometimes you do get some new waitresses that are not that good.but that happens in almost all the restaurants. But prices are good and you do get the food for you'r money. It's hard to find good help, but atleast they are working....

Well zippy I'm just repeating what has been told to me. It's sad when the penile challenged (such as yourself) has to pay your way through life because you have little else to impress with. Shoot, I'm always impressed when someone throws money around, impressed with their stupidity. Tip fair for service rendered, whether its ho'house or restaurant. Tip to impress and you only look like an idiot.

Keep dreaming there bud, you may tip big and the waitresses might love you for that. But I bet you still go home alone and stroke your sad lil' gherkin thinking about another one that got away.

There are those that no matter what you do you can not please them Casa Luna is a great place to eat and their food is as good as any around. I had just as soon eat there as any restaurant around.
I think this original poster made it very plain what they were upset about and that was not getting free food. It is very obvious they are those type people that bitch and moan no matter where they eat and they are pissed their little tantrum didnít land them free food there.
To the management of Casa Luna keep up the good work we are proud to have you in our community.

I just want to add as well the fact this lady has a hyphenated name speaks highly of what type person she is in the first place.

People in Sparta are very easy to please as far as restaurants go. They don't mind re-heated frozen food.

To make most Sparta folks happy all you have to do is double up the portions so they can take some home. Keeps that "muffin top" in shape. It's not quality around here, it's quantity.

If I'm going to spend the money to eat out I prefer to eat somewhere that offers fresh food, made on premises. No place like that around here, except for breakfast at a few of the smaller places.

Lately I have found that the quality isn't as good as it used to be. The service has not been very good dining in either. Management was friendly but not very active in making sure we got what we needed, drink refills etc. It was ridiculous. I have had good experiences eating at the Casa Luna in the past, but lately, not so good. Maybe it depends on the day of the week. Whatever they have changed, they need to fix it.. We were neglected my last time eating there and the food was not as good.....bad experience.

I am not from Sparta but I do have family and when we visit we normally go to some local place in town. To be quite honest I have yet to find a local place in Sparta that I thought was awful or had bad service. We've ate at Casa Luna only 3 times, the last being last week and it was very good as always. I also like some of the other mom and pops, like 2nd act, foglight... that was in Rock Island.. I believe that is White County though? Anyways I live in a decent sized town and I miss the charm of having special mom and pops. Every restaurant you go to will have some bad moments but overall I've yet to find anything wrong with any of the places I've visited while in Sparta. You guys have a very nice community. Enjoy it and try to make the place you live in better instead of griping and complaining just to stir up drama.
