County police concept not right for Watchung
Although the Watchung Borough Council voted unanimously to not support the proposal, the following are my own thoughts.

Great opinion piece.
If the neighboring towns could copy Watchung's noble and profitable pursuit to ticket or arrest law-breakers -- from shoplifters to speeders and those driving illegal cars -- then I'd be all for it.
North Plainfield, for example, could fill its coffers in spades if only they handed out a few speeding or no-use-of-turn-signal tickets.
Not to mention providing driving lessons to those who have never had them.
