Woman 'terrified' after judge ordered her to remove scarf

Detroit -- A woman who is suing a Wayne County judge for telling her to remove her Islamic head scarf says she was terrified and humiliated by the June 16 incident.

We would be shown the door right after we got there foot out of our ass. Where is this lawsuit money going to come from? We can't provide books for our kids, but we can address and more than likely pay for this woman being offended.

To my way of thinking, they should've put this case on the back burner and let her stew for a time.
It is my understanding that she is tryiing to get her name in the limelight for professional reasons. Aha...just another can of worms to provide food for thought, huh?

Were supposed to be a country with constitutional rights. That includes freedom of religion. If a judge or even the president tried to tell me to do somthing that went againtst my religion i would tell them to stick it up there ass. This woman has every right to sue.

What are you talking about? We are diverse to the point where it is a crime to be white and any time a minority doesn't get their own way, play the race card. But hey fine pay this woman for taking off her "head dress", since you feel so strongly, make sure you pay her out of your pocket.

This country respects minorities, and diversitiy is a positive characteristic of this country. The judge need to be educated about other people believes; if she was a nun, would've he asked her to remove her head cover. I came from a Middle East country, my sister is a pharmacist and the other one is a medical technologist; both cover there head-Hijab-. Women are respected there, people who treat women there are the secular people and the very unreligious people. I think this lady wants the message to be spread to other judges and do not want to make a lot of noise.

Ok, i have to say this...It is funny when people and i am talking from all over the world that comes here and pushes there culture and bull down our throats. I was married to a yugo and they would say americans are garbage but yet they know how to work our system and take our money. You have it wrong... you came to America and you need to get educated on our beliefs. Why should or would we be entitled to change our ways to suit you. If the nun was asked to remove her head cover she would do so and not bitch about it because she would be proud to be American.

It is funny i am a proud polish american and my daughter who has low self esteem got with a yeman man and he got her pregnant and he moved in with her while she is supporting herself and my grandson and when he has some of his boys come over she has to go in her room and not be seen i ripped him a new one telling him that it was against my belief and religion that you have to put a girl in a room when men are around.
