How many shots towards/thru the windshield? And 1 through the side window as a last attempt to take out a criminal that is trying to run over a police officer and endanger the lives of innocent bystanders... is the simplest explaination that can be given. You do know this has been investigated by many and is backed up by witnesses, and the officer has been back on patrol for a while know, cleared of anything.
