All I can say is "wow"....I understand the reason for looking into the legal issues in regards to the petition of the level 2 and 3 sex offenders but really the comment about "there being no place for them to live if we restrict places for them to reside" is absolutely foolish! Leominster is a big city....if the city of Leominster cares so damn much then why don't they pay for the damn pediphiles to live away from the school! False hopes of security - no just comforting knowing that you don't have to even worry about one of them strolling by a child on their way to their home that is right across the street! Please again let community decide where they put their sex offenders not city officials that could care less because of "all the issues and work it will make them have to deal with"...I hope nothing happens to a child in the city of Leominster because wow what sort of legal issues will the city have then?

A false sense of security is all this law get you.
Teach you children to stay away from strangers and that there are parts of their bodies that are private. It is impossible to watch every offender and to know who they are. Parents start doing your job.

Unfortunately, over 50% of the offenders are not strangers, but family and friends and over 95% of them are heterosexual... So, yes educate your children because that's your best defense against these creeps!
