"Michelle and Christian lived together in Northampton and dated for over three years."

What even more sad is the couple were living in sin before Mr. Weber took his life. How few people even bat an eye at the casual statement that two unmarried people live together?

No MPB, the sad part of the story is that man died. His life was so unbearable that he took his own life. Have you ever felt that way? Kind of wish you did. The saddest of all is that good-hearted people have to be subjected to small-minded, cold-hearted and judgmental people like you.

Those of you writing in please consider that when you google Christian Weber's name plus Northampton, MA this link comes up first. As people hear the tragic news and seek information they will visit this site.
I was fiends with him since childhood and he was one of the most sensitive, kind and caring people on the planet. I feel it is almost impossible to know why he took his life. I do know that life is fragile and a gift. If we could all be a little more kind and loving with one another it would alleviate suffering especially among the more sensitive.

MPB, It is truly appalling that given this situation, you feel as though you are entitled to judge Christian. Seemingly, you did not know him, as many of us did, or you would understand what a wonderful person he was. As Left Behind mentioned, it is nearly incomprehensible for us to understand why Christian did this. While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, as off-putting as it may be, please spare us your incendiary judgmental comments and recognize that Christian is dead and it has nothing to do with whether or not he was "living in sin".

Christian was one of my son's best friends in grade school. He was one of the sweetest, kindest children we've ever known. He was funny and glib and I was so sorry to hear of his tragic passing. You people who comment so coarsely and hatefully about a person you don't even know have way too much time on your hands. Christian will be remembered and missed by many.

I spoke with his family today and the details of the funeral should be in his obituary tomorrow (Thursday) in the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

It will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Northampton, MA. In the future there will be a memorial service as well to celebrate his life.

I hope all that knew and loves this very special person can attend.

Christian was a childhood friend and the most loyal and kind person you could imagine. He will be greatly missed by the people he touched throughout his life.

I knew Christian for many years growing up. He was kind and thoughtful and his death is great loss to all of us who knew him. He will be sorely missed. It saddens me that there are people in this world who would seek to belittle the tragedy of his loss by making this forum a place to judge the morality of a complete stranger. In the future, MBP- learn to keep your callus and self-righteous remarks in a more appropriate setting.

I'm one of the Weber's tenants. My roommate told me this afternoon what had happened. It seems like I just saw Christian at outside our apartment, and he smiled and waved as he always did. I've lived here for two years now and can honestly say that Christian Weber and his father Will Weber are both extremely sweet people. They have good hearts. I'm sorry for the loss to all friends and family, you are in my thoughts.

Peace and love

Hello,

I've just created a memorial web site for those who knew Christian to share stories, memories, photos and feelings. I will get a clear web address in the next few days but for now you can access it here:

http://web.mac.com/alexandramello/iWeb/Site%2...

There is a blog you can post on or an email to send stories and photos to be posted. Michelle liked the idea and I hope it can be a source of comfort for all of us that are greiving.

I was just thinking of Chris and thought I'd google him.

We weren't close friends, but I had known him since 7th grade.

In case his parents ever come here, I thought I would let them know that I was thinking about him.
