I have been searching for any news regarding the high school senior Mike Giard, and have found nothing. Does anyone have information on this child, or where donations and flowers can be sent for the family? From what I have heard from my daughter and her friends, he passed away at home Friday morning, but I see nothing about this anywhere in the papers.

I was so saddened to hear about this boy. My son roomed with a boy from Putnam at the All-State Music Festival this weekend who got a phone call from his mom telling him what happened. I, too, wanted to find out more, but only found your inquiry. My heart goes out to his family and friends. May God Bless.

I have been going to school with Michael for the past few years now, he was great person, and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. I hope you got the information you needed by now. And I hope your children are doing better than those in my school. Thank you for your condolences, and God Bless.

I played hockey with Mike for many years. He was a great kid who looked out for others and was there when you needed him. He was like a brother to me and the other twenty players on the team. I will miss him and those of you who didnt get the chance to meet him Im sorry that you will never meet one of the greatest guys ever. I pray for him every day and for the family. i hope you will too.
