Been pulled over in my own driveway, guess because I NOT one of the good ole boyz. They showed up yesturday, for no reason. Out watering plants, they said they had a warrant for one of my sons friends. I asked to see the warrant, they said they did NOT have to show it to me. Don't they? Then the officer said he was going to arrest me for obstruction of justice. Are you kidding me for asking a question? They took the sons friend to Braidwood jail, and 30 min later, let him go, had some questions. Can they honestly do that. When they were here they said they were taking him to county. Wow. arrest a 39 year old woman for asking a question. You have got to kidding me. Obviously they didnt have a warrant, and lied to get some questions answered. Pieces of sh*t!

I used to be a big supporter of police because I knew they had a thankless job for the most part. But then I read incidents like the one above, the Burge case, the big off-duty cop in Chicago who beat up a 90 pound female bartender, the unbelievable police stuff that occurred in the Riley Fox case, and I am starting to wonder about how much abuse of power there is in police departments. I still believe that a good number of police officers are honest and are in it for the right reasons, but some of these recent revelations make me wonder if I am supportive or naive.

Well that is the beauty of this site, you can say whatever you like and when you get caught you can deny it, because no one can track you down.
Don't say you can't be tracked. I will post the IP address here shortly

Why do you think we have the police? If you break the law do you really think you can run home, and avoid answering for it? Of course the police can come on your property. It isn't a shock to you to know you broke the law. We all know if we break a law, It only shocked you to get caught. Besides, what kind of people cover for drug dealers?

Then why are you afraid of the police? When we first moved here some one complained about my dog barking. The police came, warned us, and were polite, and professional. The dog settled into its new house, and never becae a problem again.

I see the Braidwood Police arrested a father-son drug dealing duo. GOOD JOB! I also see that Officer Jason Yeates helped clear up a SNAFU with the case. GOOD JOB. I also seem to recall reading about a Deputy from Kankakee by the same name. So I put the name into the yahoo search. Lo and behold there he is under the headline of Local Cops react to the Peterson case/ Ethics in policing. I wonder if this is the same Jason Yeates that stole money from a suspect and resigned from the Sheriff's office after he pleaded guilty? I also wonder why Our Mayor, our Commissioners and Acting Chief hired him? Something doesn't pass the smell test here. I hope they have an answer for me at the next council meeting.

Columbo, good detective work! Mr. Grace has been trying to remove this cop for the last six months -same guy. Court records prove this is the same man. But, unfortunately, this cop is the acting chief's friend. And the mayor won't do anything Mr. Grace wants. She won't even put her chief up to get council approval because she knows he wouldn't even get 1 vote. Keep up the Good Work - Take a look at the acting chief's schedule. He never works on the street and he doesn't talk to any elected officials except his "friend" the "mayor."

Why do you care? REALLY? You are kidding me right. I LIVE in this town and I don't want a THIEF patrolling in my neighborhood. I am a TAX PAYER and I don't want my TAX DOLLARS going to a THIEF! Just what is the Mayor thinking? What is the acting (and poorly I must now admit)chief thinking? This officer must be terminated NOW not LATER. And the acting chief can go as well. When sticky fingers applied did he disclose the theft? Was a background check done on this man? Is he searched before he goes home at the end of the day? MAYOR YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!
If he lied on his application he can be fired. If the acting chief new about this and hired him HE should be fired as well!

If this cop is the acting chief's ( a.k.a.accomplice)friend then fire both of them. This makes our town look very foolish. It makes our elected officals look even more foolish. And now that you mention it I can't ever recall seeing the acting chief around town.

It will be interesting to see if the acting chief even shows up for the busiest week in Braidwood - "The Fest." My guess is that he shows up Sunday evening (making his grand but very short appearance for the fireworks!) Just like he did last year. He will be gone all week - he could care less about this town - he doesn't even LIVE in it!
