So what other people don't have the right to support their families. Thank yourself and your unions for that problem.

Because of unions and the work they have done, Americans now enjoy eight hour days, forty hour weeks, weekends and holidays off. Unions also brought in overtime pay and benefits. Unions set the wages in this country. Without having to compete with union jobs, an employer could pay whatever they wanted to. These all came along because of workers being unionized and the power that gave them with their employers. Because of their ability to set pay and benefits, the pay and benefits went up for all Americans. Unions essentially built the middle class in this country.

We are living in Illinois. If you want right to work, then move to one of the 22 states that offers it.

Unions are as important today as they ever were. They are the only structure in place today to fight for the rights and dignity that ALL workers deserve in the workplace.

If your good enough and you have a pair you don't need a bunch of crooks to strong arm other people to fight for your job. People need to learn how to stand up to the big man and fight not oh I'm telling my union rep. Bunch of crybabies. That's the problem with are world today everyone needs some one to fight their battles for them. Guess what if you keep doing it were all in for a big trouble before long we aren't going to have any rights.

If the rights and dignity of ALL workers is so deserved, than why are we complaining about non-union workers doing a job?
Oh yea, because they don't pay dues so they don't count.

It's pay to play all over again. The unions learned that from our government.

Non-union workers are easily exploited. Their rights and dignity are ignored because they have no power to demand better conditions. Read history and learn.

Unions were an important part of our history and we owe a lot to them. HOWEVER, in today's world of Unions, they are doing more bad then they are doing good. They are just as corrupt now as the companies were before there were unions. Why can't I hire who ever the hell I want to do electrical work or plumbing in my own damn home!!!??? If I want to start a business and build a building for it I should hire who I want regardless of Union or not. If you want to be in a Union that is your right, don't force me to use union workers if I don't want to.

It's easy.
If anybody is willing to work for one cent less than union wage.
And if employers are allowed to hire who they believe is best for them.
Then unions lose. The only way they can keep their salary high is by trying to force employers to have to hire them legally and try to shame those who don't join their club.

At a sub standard wage, makes a lot of sense. Support the middle class and we'll all have good jobs, top to bottom.

No laws saying it has to be union made or fixed up. All you have to do is follow code. F@&k all your unions
