I will assume you were calling her a Bitch. Shes not, she is a very nice person. If she wasn't nice to you, she probably had a good reason. Don't be slandering her on Topix.

that has nothing what so ever to do with this conversation. Smh
I believe it does enter into the conversations because how popular would a teacher be if they were the only one who paddled students?

Some may not remember him. But when I went to school. My favorite teacher was Mark Roush. He made teaching fun.

Although she was not my favorite I agree she was a good teacher. My favorite teacher will remain unnamed as I don't want anyone to slander her good name on here. She was great but now retired and I truly hope she is enjoying her retirement, she deserves it. If I ever get to see her again I will tell her she was my favorite.

I know that our schools were much better when our school used the paddle. Since it was banned, my kids are having a lot more problems. Please tell the governor or whoever stopped this that we need the paddle back
Sorry... I refuse to allow this school to BEAT my children. You are a worthless parent if the only way your child behaves well if out of fear of being beat.

My favorite teacher was Mrs. Ellsesser. She had a great sense of humor.

There is a difference in getting paddled and getting beat. No students were ever "beat" by a teacher or Principal. It's a little thing called discipline, which is fairly non existent in our school today.

When I was in school I remember that every teacher had a paddle. If they had a student that was unruly & nothing else worked then they would take the student in the hall and paddle them. It was a far cry from beating.
