I have 2 children that go to SOuth Vienna School and why have we not been notified about the safety of this school. Why have they not notified every parent in the district about safety issues. I am a homeowner that pays taxes and want some answers. I will not vote for this levy until there are some changes. My son was threatened by a teacher this year and the principal, the superintendant, and board member was notified and did nothing about this. I was told they did not have the time to deal with this. So I do not have the time to vote for our levy. What do they have to say about that. Until we are all notified and things start to change my self and others have issues with this levy and they way our school is run. Thank you for letting me voice my opinion.

Its sad that schools feel the crunch but maybe this is what it has come down to. I mean feed your family or have a great looking school. Its not the school that makes kids succeed its the teachers.

No state funding until a levy past? What is the State of Ohio and the Governor doing with all of the UNTOLD millions raked in with the state lottery. Maybe the FBI should investigate their activity with lottery funds.

Tim, Great comment. We had one room school houses. Churches used to be one simple building - now look what they have become. If the churches spent half of the money they spend on "designer looking" churches on the hungry and homeless, we would have no homeless on the streets.

I went to School at Fairlawn in Sidney Ohio. I think if teachers want a new school they should take a pay cut.
