As to the honest part, there is a lot of people that would be more than willing to dispute you on that. He is a nice person and did everything that he could to help you but he did it by using someone elses money and products. Majority of the people in the South Shore area thought he owned that store and had no idea that he was only an employee. How did they come to that way of thinking? Maybe he told people that he owned it like many have said. That alone disputes his honesty. There is several people deciding to come clean about things that happened in that store and it does not sound like "HONEST" is a word that should be tagged to any certian person that was employed at Cookes Farm Center.

Amos I think you may be a little hard on some of the ones that helped at the store, I think you tag Mike as honest as well as the 4-h girls that helped as honest. Man, wife and wife's best friend would be the questionable party to me.

So you are deciding he is dishonest because many thought he owned the store and jumped to that conclusion on their own? Many people, like me thought he owned the store because he was the main guy there all the time. This town cracks me up with their Murder She Wrote-style of investigating. I guess if every one in the town decides feeding kerosene to sick kids is a good idea, Christ Care will be packed the next day. JEEZ!

I've got to agree, if you have an employee that runs a business to the extent that people think he owns that business then the actual owner has a very valuable employee. Assuming he was honest, an employee like that is very hard to find these days.

He did not open it. Ryan Sells and a guy named Larry ran it for over a year before Brian started working there. I am sure Mr. Sword isn't saying anything either way.

This is gonna get ugly, bet on that, and a lot of people are gonna be surprised when it all comes crumbling down. We can get on here and discuss the whole thing to length but the law knows the truth and it will allwill be made public when the time is right.

I think the State Police are blowing smoke. They know its arson but they know they can't prove who did it. Arson is easy to detect but unless they have a witness or someone admits it, they will never prove it. They just tried to pressure somebody into confessing. Whoever did this, for whatever reason, is going to get away with it.

Brian is one of the most likable people that I have ever met. He is nice and always greets you with a smile and has a way of making you smile. I like him but I would never let him carry my wallet or my wife's purse. He did not open that store or did he own any part of it. I thought he bought it because that is what he told me and my wife. I quit going in the store after the stories that I had heard about a man that loafed in there. Then I met a man from OH that told me that Brian had stole over hundred thousand from him at a construction company. It all catches up with you no matter how nice you are.

I heard yesterday Brian passed the lie detector. So I doubt they are going to pursue anything.I knew he could not steal or be a arsonist. He was in charge of the 4-H money for years and monies always added up.

Someone close to the case is saying that due to who the suspect is, a special prosecutor has been named and they are going to let a Grand Jury in a neighboring county take the case. This way the suspects family can't get mad at any of the locals.

What is better than a eye witness? How about video evidence! Every business around the farm store has cameras and when a person changes his or hers story 10 times and none of them match the video and other evidence, there is a problem. The difference will be if they plead not guilty or guilty when the time comes. No matter what, there will be someone going to prison. If they plead guilty to their actions, it may take a few years off their sentence.

Brian is not going to jail.I heard the fire started by a faulty electric box,And brian went to the hospital from running back into the building trying to put it out before it was completely out of control.Brain has bad legs and he was running in and out of the blaze. Does anyone know how bad the burns are? And what burn center is he in?

You have to be nuts. I am only hoping that your trying to be funny because if you believe what you typed, you need to go and check yourself in the V.A. Psyc ward where Brian went. He did not need help with burns, knees or breathing in smoke. He needed help with all the smoke he was blowing.
