the mormons never change. they still live in the 1800 hundreds. and nobody knows the truth of the book of mormon. it's changed so many time's whats true.and when does god and his angels have time to come and pick there prophets. god don't they put a few old men in a room to talk when one passes. and they decide who's new prophet. not god. i might decide to become a member if i have a chance to be a prophet. just a bunch of frauds. using go invain

i've got a different story about mormon missionaries.i didn't think they'd find away to get mad and stay away from people. see i really cared for these boys. but i did something that i didn't no would make them hate me. i put some. lds musis on a c d for them. then they said it was stolen music. but it wasn't. now they won't talk to me. since they are being hateful. does this mean there not being true to there god. they called me a lier. now i feel. like i'm going to hell. and i think they are too. because they listened to the music a few days before they got mad.

Do you judge entire organizations by the actions of a few? I was a mormon missionary, and I was young, naieve and had to work with people in some cases that I struggled to get along with. They are just kids.

The missonaries are told (as all LDS are) to abstain from the very appearance of evil.

Making copies of dvd's or cd's is stealing and is breaking the law and can cause the FBI to investigate even if the dvd/cd is just for personal use.

Were the missionaries being tactful? Most likely not but the young are rarely known for their tact and are more prone to try to live strictly.

I used to have a small bag of tobacco hanging from my review mirror (I would use it in the Native American Community for blessing things like drums, powwow circles, etc). Once Sunday, with my family in the van, we picked up two missionaries, one just fresh out into the field. He asked me what was in the bag, i told him and his response was "When I get married I will NEVER let ANY tobacco product in my home". My response to him was when he has his family, he can do what he wants to. I guess because of the bag of tobacco he was very offended because we were never asked to pick them up for church again.

That was their choice and it didn't affect me any. If their came by the house, or the future pair of missionaries came by the house to have their bikes worked on, I would. No problem with me.

We can't control how others act towards us but we can control how we act towards them.

Geeze...do you know how stupid that stuff you say is? No one takes you serious because you don't make sense. Do you just make stuff up as you go along?

If you would take the time to study it out you would understand that like many commandments it was given line upon line. At the time it was given it would have kept every member out of the Temple. It is not even a full commandment today. While we do have to live by the do nots we are not required to live by the does. The people have not been fully prepaired for that requirement yet.
~~~ the "line upon line, precept upon precept" concept is not found in the New Testament Bible except a reference in Hebrews 5:12 "For though by this time you ought to be teachers,...." that refers to the need for "milk" at first.
"Hannah Rebekah's" stupid comments are predictable if she believes as 'Stay Home Dad' said "..we are not required to live by the does."??~ but see:
The Ten Commandments; Bible Dictionary, etc.
http://scriptures.lds.org/en/bd/c/79 and tell me if you think 'LDS Mormons' are required to live by them.??
