If the works aren't "part" of the process of your salvation, why do you do them? You shouldn't be doing any works if they are no part of your salvation with Christ. why be such a fricking hypocrite? You do this all the time. You call Christ a liar because he said do as he did, obey the commandments, he also said have faith and forgiveness and do good deeds as that is part of the salvation he taught.<quoted text>
My works are a natural result of the grace I've received, but they don't save me, no more then being grateful for a gift someone gives me pays for the cost of the gift.
Jesus never said have faith and your saved. Jesus never said his grace only saved. Jesus taught to do as he did by faith and works.
You try your best to separate faith and works and you prove Jesus a liar each time you claim Jesus didn't teach works were part of his plan for salvation.
The worst part is you don't give a friggin' care if you make a liar of Christ as long as you can spout your distortions claiming you know better than what Jesus taught.
By the way, works aren't a "natural" result of grace. Works are earned just as faith is learned. When you are developing your faith, you will be reading the Bible to gain knowledge of how to better your faith. As you read you will read about the things Jesus said to do that a true follower of his will do with their faith.
Those that teach works only save are like the angels of Satan who also believe there is a God.
Those that teach faith only(like you)are like the angels of Satan who also believe there is a God.
Those that understand faith and works are what Jesus taught us to believe in and to do do as Jesus instructed.
Know the difference.
