23 Facts of the Mormon Belief. Please note that if this is your first time hearing about something that you didn't know, they teach in stages and sometimes confuse you to pray about it. If you don't believe me, go and ask a Missionary (If they are trained well), a Bishop, or even their counsellors.
1.) God lives on a planet or next to a star called Kolaub, & we all previously existed there in spirit form until we were sent to Earth.
2.) There are three levels of heaven and how hard you work on earth for God is the outcome of which level you get to go to.
3.) There is no Hell
4.)When you die, depending on how hard you worked and paid tithing, you can become the God of your own planet in the after life.
5.) When women Die there husbands must call them to heaven before they can come, and when they get there they will have spiritual babies with God.
6.)They have Garments (Underwear & Singlet) that they believe will protect you if you wear them.
7.)Joseph Smith said a man is more likely to get to the highest level of Heaven if he has ten wives rather than one.
8.)They believe they can still Baptise someone when they are dead.
9.) Mountain Meadow Massacar, committed by Mormons.
10.) "The Garden of Eden" was in Missouri, USA.
11.) They believe those who aren't "WHITE", are descendants of Cane and that God threw a fireball down on there planet because they are cursed or not pure.(Blacks and Brown-skinned people are all cursed)
12.)They believe God was once a man of flesh & blood like us.
13.) That God had physical sex with Mary.
14.)There is no holy Trinity, God, Jesus, and the Holy spirit are seperate beings.
15.) That satan shaped large rocks that look like dinasaur bones to deceive people into thinking they didn't exist.
16.) That Christ will establish a new Zion in Missouri, USA.
17.) There won't be any parent child relationship in the after life like there is on earth.
18.) Joseph Smith said once that he didn't want to start poligamy but an Angel came down with a sword and forced him do it.
19.) Jesus was married to more than one wife and had children.
20.) Men & men only can perform miracles.
21.) That Earth fell from its orbit from around Kolaub (The planet where God lives)
22.) Don't believe that salvation is through Jesus Christ.
23.) Most children who grow up in the Mormon church have never read the bible for fear it is false and is incorrect.
All that is written are TRUE teachings of the Mormon Faith. They aren't raised learning from the bible, instead they reference from what they are taught in Sacrament, the Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, & Pearl of Great Price. Just hope they question what they follow...
Where in the world are you getting your information?
Sounds like you need to read the Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants and Pearl of Great Price.

Best thing is for people to read the teachings and visit The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and find the truth for yourself.

Each year the church studies a different book.

This year they are teaching The Bible

Last year was the Book of Mormon.

Next year will probably be the Old Testament .

Why would the church teach the Bible and Old Testament if they did not believe in it?

the lack of education in Tonga is leading more and more people down the path corruption and Purgatory.
Well, Christopher, Mr. critical thinker, you are sadly lacking in knowledge. The Church strongly believes in the resurrection of Christ, a living Christ, as well as the glorious return of the resurrected and glorified Christ in these last days. Hence, the name of the church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Book of Mormon is "another testament of Jesus Christ" and is the word of God. The Bible, King James version, is as well a testament of God and is studied in church. To say they are Satan worshippers is a total falsehood, They glory in Christ, teach of Christ, worship Christ, and look to Him for salvation, The Book of Mormon has thousands of references to Christ and His holy teachings.. It's unfortunate that you would not have an open mind, look at the website of the Church, and look more closely at the doctrine before you publish such dribble.

He promoted a practical, common sense religion Kellogg worked on the rehabilitation of masturbators, often employing extreme measures, even mutilation, on both sexes. He was an advocate of circumcising young boys to curb masturbation and applying phenol (carbolic acid) to a young woman's clitoris. In his Plain Facts for Old and Young,[7] he wrote:
“ A remedy which is almost always successful in small boys is circumcision, especially when there is any degree of phimosis. The operation should be performed by a surgeon without administering an anesthetic, as the brief pain attending the operation will have a salutary effect upon the mind, especially if it be connected with the idea of punishment, as it may well be in some cases. The soreness which continues for several weeks interrupts the practice, and if it had not previously become too firmly fixed, it may be forgotten and not resumed.”

“ a method of treatment [to prevent masturbation]... and we have employed it with entire satisfaction. It consists in the application of one or more silver sutures in such a way as to prevent erection. The prepuce, or foreskin, is drawn forward over the glans, and the needle to which the wire is attached is passed through from one side to the other. After drawing the wire through, the ends are twisted together, and cut off close. It is now impossible for an erection to occur, and the slight irritation thus produced acts as a most powerful means of overcoming the disposition to resort to the practice ”

He also recommended, to prevent children from this "solitary vice", bandaging or tying their hands, covering their genitals with patented cages and electrical shock.[7]
In his Ladies' Guide in Health and Disease, for nymphomania, he recommended

Firstly, please humble yourself and don't get ita over this topic. A true follower of Christ will answer through the Bible or what he has been taught. Somethings you've been taught is misleading and incorrect. Just soften your heart and read Bible because your guys teachings are not in the Bible.
Nope your wrong, being raised in the church myself and leaving 2 years ago was enough for me to see and obverse the churches teachings. I was taught all this at church and in seminary.
I don't wanna discuss Jospeh Smith like other people, because we will obviously have different views on him.
Look Mormons during that time had slaves of there own so no they all weren't against slavery. An apostle by the name of Charles C. Rich had slaves during the 1850s. I don't know how my Polynesians would believe being cursed its just sad how they will allow a White man to corrupt their minds with Racism. Brigham Young did not allow coloured people to enter the Temple or get involved in many of the temple rituals during the 1840s. Learn doko the foundations the LDS is based upon.
I am glad for you leaving the Mormon Church. From what you wrote, it reflects that you did not learn anything at all. My great great grand father joint the Church in 1893, two years after it arrived in Tonga. He was a full member without any restriction or racism like what you described. So, keep going and do not look back. The church does not need you. It is you who need the Church. But, what's the use? You have your free agency and keep at it.

Hey Faith, for that pain in your chest and butterflies in your tummy I prescribe a very different medicine to the normal kind. The symptoms you have indicate that you have what is called the love sickness, a sickness that can only be cured by finding the person that gave it to you and telling him what he did to you. Since Benz has been awfully nice to you, calling you a goddess and such I think I know who will cure you of those pains.

C'mon Benz bro, why you playing hard to get? You know she gonna go all crazy if you don't give her a chance. Women are line wine bro, they taste nicer with time. Young girls think they beautify forever sometimes expect so much, but older girls, they appreciate each and every loving. Take a chance man, accept Faith's very obvious advances on you, see where that road goes.

Catholic Church is clearly not true. They worship Marry, when Jesus said said unto Satan "thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve." St.Luke4:8, the New Testament. We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
We worship God the father in the name of Jesus Christ His Son. They and the Holy Ghost, are one in Purpose, but three separate bodies. Stephen when he was being stoned for believing in Christ, saw the Son of man standing on the right hand side of God, and the spirit was in him. You can only know these things are true if you sincerely ask God if they are true, then shall the Holy Ghost confirm of its truthfulness.

Do they really pray to marry? Or is it just some sort of respect to her? People judged mormons n i find out they dont pray to Joseph Smith like how people make it out to be. Concentrate on ur own faith, attending church does not make u worthy to enter gods kingdom, worry about how u can enter his kingdom instead of other religions .

Catholics believe in intercession prayers. That's where they pray (usually) through a canonized saint on their behalf to God the Father. You can visit any Catholic church to earn this. They claim they pray "through" the saints and not "to" the saints. They cleaned up this explanation pretty well in the last 50 years because before that, there was all sorts of evidence in their churches and on their printed cards that they actually prayed to the saints, not just "through" them Mary being one of them.
Mormons have never been taught to pray to anyone but God the Father or Heavenly Father and to end the prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.
As an opinion, attending a church with people who have like and similar religious beliefs can give a person some "extra" spiritual strength for their beliefs and what they believe in. Birds of a feather that flock together can be a good thing ;)

Yes, "the Church strongly believes in the resurrection of Christ, a living Christ, as well as the glorious return of the resurrected and glorified Christ in these last days", but denies the grace of Jesus Christ and members put their faith in their works, not the saving blood of Jesus. You are trying to earn your place in heaven. That is denying what Jesus Christ has done for you, and in fact is rejecting him. You use the name of Jesus Christ, but you haven't put your faith in him. Salvation is solely based on what Jesus has done for you, and the faith you put into that. Not keeping the word of wisdom, not water baptism, not attending your meetings, not having the priesthood, not going to the temple, not following a self appointed prophet, but putting your faith 100% in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.

Eternal marriage is one of the biggest myths in Mormonism. Jesus taught against it:

Matthew 22:30
For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

If couples were still married even in death, if a husband or wife were to remarry after their spouse died, they would be committing adultery.

Jesus said to Peter, unto you I give the keys to the kingdom of Heaven, whatsoever ye shall bind here on earth shall be bound up in Heaven. Matthew 16:19, about marriage in Matthew 22:30 in verse 23 it tells us that the Sadducees don't believe in the resurrection, for them to ask the Savior of marriage in the resurrection was not their true purpose to find out the truth but to trap Jesus in some way, but Jesus knows everything. In genesis Adam and Eve were married by God himself, they shall not be twain but one flesh, genesis 2:24. 1cor.11:11, man and woman are made for each other. When the dark ages came, many of these simples truths were lost, but God brought them back because without these truths we can be saved. Pray about these things, read the Book of Mormon, meet the missionaries, knowledge doesn't come unless you seek it out. There's two sides of the story, like there is for Jesus, but I believe Jesus because the spirit of The Lord confirms He is the Christ, these things I share to you are His word, pray sincerely and He shall answer.

After all we can do, we are saved by His grace, of course I believe in His Grace, do you believe also in works and faith? Believe not only in Grace but in all. Don't be lazy and believe only in Grace not doing anything else but sanctify yourself by doing His word (works) also
