I can't believe I'm the only person annoyed by the seven days a week from 9am until dark the constant guns shooting with no let up. The city says they were here first and are operating within the noise guide lines set up by the state. My guess would be none of these people have to put up with the endless noise. Now they have removed property to get ready for road improvements, making the noise even worse, taking away a buffer. I understand there have been complaints coming from the other side of the river,my guess would be the Newport area and and have landed on deaf ears even more so because they are from another area. What a shame, this area could be so much nicer.

We were here first so knock off your crying and don't bother going to the do nothing council they won't help, they have tried for years with no luck. My advice to you is to stop crying and live with it because we aren't going away and won't be forced into any local ordinances either, they have no power over us!

I have a question for the new candidates for the city council in So St Paul , why can't the city force the gun range to put up sound blockers so the people living along the the corridor of improvement now taking place on Concord can have some relief for the constant pop pop pop taking place every day of the week from about 9an until dark. I can't believe nothing can be done. This is a waste of time I think. Appears to be a dead connedtion.

This is starting to sound like the airport story. Those people bought homes around the airport and bought them at a considerable reduction and knowing that the noise was there and then they complained this is not the case with the homes along the Concord corridor of traffic. People have bought homes paying a respectable amount and choosing what they thought was a fantastic neighborhood only to find out later they had bought property in the middle of what sounds like a military war zone. When they complained they found out the state regulates the range. This should be posted on all property in the area, House for sale, constant noise from gun range 9am until dark. My guess would be homes for sale would stop. The Cith should have to conduct city business in this area, my guess would be the gun range would have some changes. I think its time to ban together on both sides of the river to start some sort of action to change the old time gun range who has been around forever and make it suitable for all.

why do you keep complaining, get a life. The gun range is here to stay and the only one bothered by it is a few so who cares about you! The city fathers don't want to hear these piddly complaints anyway.

Wow, someone seriously brought this stupid topic up? Must be a new resident in the area. I've lived just up the hill from the gun range in South Saint Paul for the past 20 years, I am now 31. It does not sound like a freaking war zone. It's a dull pop pop pop at the most. Stop acting like it's a big issue around here. If you don't like it, I suggest you move to Bloomington.

Also, you said this area could be so much nicer, I sure hope you aren't talking about the homes on concord street themselves, because those are the biggest pieces of junk houses on the market, selling for a mir over $100,000. If you live on top the hill near McMorrow Field and you are complaining about this, you need to seriuosly get a freaking life.

Really wish I knew why it says Inver Grove Heights instead of South Saint Paul. I can't get it to change to the correct location.
