No Charlie......we are mostly treated just like everyone else. We are overtaxed and underpaid, we love the summer scenery and shovel snow in the winter. We grocery shop, mow our lawns, watch The Deadliest Catch, and catch the Sunday football games. Sane ones root for the Patriots.

This is actually pretty funny. "YAY! We're #6!!!"

According to the Williams Institute, Maine has about 9.7 same-sex couples for every 1,000 households. New York has about 8.9 same sex couples per 1,000 households. It will be interesting to see how this changes in the next few years as New York now has full marriage equality and Maine doesn't.
