I too experienced the run-around and after a year of waiting and pursuing , I was given an interview. The interview took place on a Sunday morning at 0800 hrs. I have two degrees and over 30 years of sales and marketing, and needed a job desperately.
At the interview the manager said someone would be contacting me. And guess what? They did not.
My personal observation is most of their employee's are young and certainly not anyone over 40 years old.

They are close for some normal complaint even.
I'll write letter to Howard -Founder and tell him that he "lost" company, if he doesn't stop discrimination.
I have understanding for his people: it's better to hire young, cute lady with short skirt then old 40 or even worst 54 women or men...but this is America where all people are equal or that's just for stupid people to beleive in it...!!!
