I and my family have known Barr Adkins for about 20 years these post are ridiculous unless you know the person or have something good to say dont say it i have personally witnessed Barry giving money to people who needed food for there children i have been in office when people did not have money for rent do to a emergency he would never be rude or have an attitude he would just tell them when they got straightened out come buy and they would work it out thats why he has long time tenants buy the way for you know it alls they found no pot or anything else illegal on him or in his house thats why they have justice system this is a very good person who obviously dont know him or anything about the case remember the saying those who throw rocks dont throw them at glass houses and i am not ashamed to put my real name because i know him

Being generous with money you earn by dealing drugs doesn't make you a pillar of the community. The law didn't just say "Hey .. lets go arrest Mr. Adkins" and not have anything you fool. Just look what his world has done to his own family ..one son in jail and another one just got out with one foot back in rehab. Real good person there!

Barry Adkins, 49, of South Point, Ohio, was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute more than 1,000 kilograms of marijuana Thursday by a jury in Huntington, according to a statement issued by U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin's office.Adkins faces 10 years to life in prison and a $2 million fine. Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 29.

I know Barry and his wife. I personally have nothing bad to say about them.They are very nice people. Barry just go mixed up in something he shouldn't have. As for the children. any parent can raise there child the right way and if that child does anything wrong everyone blames the parents. Well you can do everything right but the choices these kids make are their own, not the parents and should not reflect on them!! As for Barry, will keep you and your family in my prayers.
