A look at some of Kerrville's early residents
They are a proud and fierce Native American society. Although the tribe came to be known historically as Comanche, they called themselves Nermernuh, or 'the People.' Once part of the Shoshone Indians, the Comanche were almost as new to Texas as the Spanish.
