Way to be role models for your children people. No wonder kids have no respect. If you can't get on here & have a mature discussion without calling people names, then what do you expect of your children. What do you think they are learning at home? Thank goodness for good teachers!!

To the ppl that said move to a different school...Uh I don't think so! We don't run from problems we stare them in the face. That's why after my last conference ( at my request) oddly enough a little authoritive amo. Goes along way! Nobody I mean nobody will treat my child like crap because im not bffs with teachers there or I don't show up everyday to volunteer, my son is now treated like he is a golden child huh funny how that works!!!!!

My kids have reduced lunch now for little while until Things ca get a little balanced out. But I have paid for their lunch for years and I work my tail off everyday providing for them. I have paid those taxes for years and years and I don't feel bad when I need just a little help. I don't ask for anything else. They would laugh at me anyway if i sked for assistance because I have a job and get off my arse and do something for myself. I agree the other parents should do something instead of sitting at home all day while school is a babysitter for them to sit around or make more babies for us to take care of. I also agree that I do not care either if I had to pay more tax for those babies to have a hot meal at least once a day! I could never be vindictive about a child!

i know i'm pretty late but i had mrs. wynne and i did have a hard time in her class. maybe it was because i was eleven and she was teaching science and social studies. that just wasn't my thing. she also had a really monotone voice so paying attention was harder but hey we all have flaws. i passed her class. she was good enough to me. plus this is a tad off topic but those fruit cups were gross. i always hated them...with a burning passion.

I never said anything about qualifying families using the free lunch program so their children can get a hot meal. I have plenty to say about people who LIE to latch onto a program they are not entitled to, and sticking the general public with a bill that they should pay.
If you really don't care about all that, then cart your stupid ass up to the school and fork out the money to buy lunches for anyone who doesn't want to pay themselves. That way your charity will have some meaning, beyond the generosity you show with other people's money.

So uhmm, just sayingg, don't we all get our tax money back at the beginning of the year when we go file. Its not technically takinng your money its just borrowing it. And I would much rather my money go to children or schools, than to jails or to building news roads etc.

No. We don't all get our tax money back. Yes, it is absolutely taking the money of most working Americans.
I said before that I don't begrudge a taxpayer funded lunch to any kid that is in a circumstance that requires it. My problem is the people who lie to claim a benefit that they are not entitled to. That is taking advantage of a system that has been put in place for people who need it. It is stealing.
