Now all we need is Trajo to go away for life. Its sad that some Men are so WEaK and SCARED they have to Depend on guns and Gangs. When all they needed in life was A father figure and some love. For the most part they end up where they belong in the long run. To bad they have to take innocent lives with them.

My heart goes out to the victims families and friends. What a terrible and senseless thing to have happened. It was an honor to be able to serve with a jury such as we had and help bring justice and some sense of closure. Our criminal justice system is not perfect, as clearly demonstrated by Hector Garcia Jr., who was paroled from a robbery charge only to murder. Only God knows the full list of his crimes against our community but we can rest assured that he will not continue to damage the world we all share and will be locked in a cage, where he belongs, for the rest of his pathetic life.

This was a terribly sad event, but with all these "Lord" comments, I have to ask..........where was the Lord when the shooting occurred? Why would he allow two nice young men to get killed? Seems people only add in the Lord when something good happens. Does he not have any control otherwise?
Religion is an outdated idea, one that is based solely on money these days. Be strong in yourself, don't use a mythical person or diety as a crutch. If the Lord was there for the good, he certainly must have been there for the bad as well!
There's nothing outdated with the idea of a higher power to answer to regardless of what you wish to call it. You are stating a personal opinion that is unsolicited, not constructive and incredibly disrespectful towards a family in grief.

it made a lot of sense to the jury! NOBODY asked for this, especially not the family of Michael and Oscar or joey! Thanks again to the jury who is writing in and sharing their opinion!

for the jurors ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE remember that you cant take some ones life legally like putting someone in jail for life and if the victems werent gang related then what were suspected gangmembers doing at the party some gets killed and its time to find justice and blame someone weather its the right person or not RIGHT!!!!talk about MORALES HUH!!!!

They grew up going to the same schools and growing up in the same neighbrhood. some individuals choose to be in gangs to feel important or wanted. because the dont have that at home. Others come from a solid household with love and great guidence, like Mike, Joey and oscar. they where at the house because Mike was trying to be the bigger person that night like he was taught. Hector made a poor choice because of WEEKNESS like his upbringing in a gang taught him .its just a sad situation no matter how u look at it. Carma will catch up with all the individuals involved. good or bad . Looks like a little carma has come Trajo's way alredy.

I do not know any of these people but am very sad to read these comments and feel how much the family is hurting. People are hurt, dead and another is going to prison. I have no more words but feel compassion for your loss and just wanted to let you know.

I can see how you think, you want to BLAME THE VICTIMS! Well you ARE so very wrong in your thoughts and comments. HECTOR GARCIA committed a crime! Guns, Gangs and this type of slime need to be locked up & done away with. If you have a crime committed against you or yours....will you think YOU deserved it?? The person killed and the others injured ARE GOOD people. Hector Garcia and Andrew Trejo ARE cowardly gang members..Believe it. They did it, but now cowardly want to lie about what they did and get away with it. They will do it again,(Andrew Trejo). The only reason Hector Garcia spree has stopped is because he is in lock up. They have shown the State who they are so BELIEVE IT. FACTS Don't lie.
