I did see Covina was adopting a city in Haiti. I said take care of yourself first. We can not help them at this time. We need to take care of our people.

It is always the greedy police officers union that causes financial hardship for cities....

JD, Make sure you get your facts before you start talking. The Police Department has been without a contract for a year and a half and the last contract they signed was after the contract had been expired for over a year. If your going to blame anyone start with the city council. They have hired high priced admins and over 5 million has gone to "re-development" with no results. The City of Covina needs to get its priorties in order and thats the bottom line!

Never made any sense to do that. Those firings just hurt the Library. That council needs to be overhauled. Perhaps 2013 is the year to do it.

And one other thing: It was dumb to place the Library under Parks and Rec. Where is the sense in that?
